I'm telling you guys...it seems like more people who ordered thru AT&T OR canceled their orders with AT&T and tried to order thru Apple are getting the run around.

I'd be willing to bet money that if you canceled everything, waited a day and re-ordered, you'd get your phone quicker. For some reason, the AT&T system and the Apple system seems to be playing tug of war...

I haven't seen nearly as many people who are with Verizon have as many problems...

----------

I'm willing to bet dollars to donuts that the vast majority of the people who ordered in the first week (12th-19th) and haven't had their phones shipped are with AT&T...

I've got a feeling you guys are waving your finger at the wrong people (Apple and UPS).

Wow I feel so bad for you guys.. Apple needs to give all of you a free case.

Class action lawsuit anyone?

My scheduled delivery information is having some problems. I'm not surprised because nearly all day it said that it was scheduled to be delivered today. Based off it's location I knew that a 10/1 delivery date was way off.

I hope to get it before the weekend. I want to tell myself "Maybe something nice will happen!" but I'm reminded of this Louis CK bit. http://youtu.be/jN_F0Gqe0_o

I also ordered my phone from AT&T at 3am when preorders started but then in the morning there was problems with my billing information where the billing address on my credit card had to match the billing information on my billing address for AT&T... WTF!!! Since the billing address is to my dad's office I had to actually cancel that order and reordered on Apple's website. It was supposed to come tomorrow, then the 6th and now this ****

Did you get the 2:41 departure scan? I think this might be our flight?

http://flightaware.com/live/flight/UPS99/history/20141001/2249Z/PANC/KSDF

Yep. I think that's it.

Alas, I live far enough outside of the city I will have to wait until Monday as well. It will stop at King of Prussia before it goes out to my house. I wonder if there is any way I could just pick it up from the UPS center on Friday or even Saturday. Do you know if you have to make special arrangements in order to do that?

Sucks that we are a day short from having to wait through the weekend.

This is a replacement phone for the one I was supposed to have delivered to my house on 9/19 that got lost (read:stolen) by FedEx. Never ordering through AT&T again. A lot of people on here complaining about UPS but I much prefer them to FedEx.

It was nice being able to trace the HKG>ANC flight. I'm terrible at Flight Aware though. If you could post the link to the ANC>SDF flight when we get our departure scans it would be most appreciated! (SDF=Louisville Int'l)

EDIT: Just noticed delivery date was updated to 10/2. Not sure how that makes sense, but now I'm really hoping I will get this thing by the end of the day on 10/3 somehow!

Mine was 10/2>10/3>10/6>10/2. Just changed my order to hold at a UPS Store as I expect to be working a little late tomorrow. You should try registering for UPS My Choice and seeing if you can "reroute" it to a UPS store in king of prussia. That may work since they'd be trucking instead of flying your phone with a pallet.

LOL...mine has been there for 27 hrs...

I'm not sure you've been reading every post. There's a whole gang of us stuck in Anchorage going on 2 full days now.

looks like rebelduck and I lucked out as our phones were up in the air on the same day. *knocks on wood*

There's something with the online AT&T order, cancel, then reordered from apple

thinking its an at&t thing?
I ordered from the apple website, my tracking info is exactly like above... 6+/SpaceGr/128/att/7:07A PST 9/12

just got a UPS email saying package has been released by clearing agency. UPS site still has Unable to load onto plane in Incheon exception. No delivery date available. This is very confusing. Aren't clearing agencies related to imports and customs?

I ordered a 6+ on 9/12 but had Apple website crash in the middle of the order and then my eligibility took 9 hours to come back so that I could continue the order. That delay in the order meant waiting 2 weeks after they hit the stores on 9/19.

I thought "no biggie" and I picked up an unlocked 6 as a "no-contract T-mobile" on 9/20 at the Apple store to use until the 6+ came. That way I would still have a day to return the one that I liked the least. The T-mo co-contract phone worked right out of the box with my ATT SIM card.

But now my expected delivery date also keeps changing EVERY day since Saturday. It was supposed to be 10/3, then 10/2, then 10/6, then 10/2 on Monday then back to 10/6 yesterday.

When I chatted with UPS yesterday online they said "the type of delivery service you have means it should be delivered on 10/2, so keep checking tracking each day and don't worry about the website". Confirming their advice in online chat, today I got an email from UPS saying the phone would be delivered on 10/2:

But then I refreshed the tracking page today and got this:

QcY9qx.jpg

What pisses me off is that if I don't return the iPhone 6 before Saturday I'm stuck with it. But I don't want to return it before the 6+ arrives because I gave my 5s to my daughter already and I need the 6 still. And I really wanted to use the 6+ for a day or two before deciding if I'd keep the 6 or the 6+. UPS is going to take those options away from me.

For some reason, the AT&T system and the Apple system seems to be playing tug of war...

This is it exactly. The databases are not synchronizing. Apple cancelled my order 1 week after I cancelled my Att order/placed my apple order. You would think that before apple cancels any order they would verify eligibility. They say they did, but it appears the data feed they got from AT&T contained data that was a week old.

Yes!! I just got this too. So now what?? I guess we'll wait until the morning and see what sort of change there is.

I think at this point it is safe to assume that anything UPS says cannot be trusted lol.

maybe some good news...according to FlightAware, UPS77 was the only flight out of ZhengZhou when my phone (according to UPS) was said to have departed ZhengZhou. It made it to Alaska a few hours ago and now it's headed to Ontario:

http://flightaware.com/live/flight/UPS77

I'm remembering that number (UPS77) but now there have been so many entries, I'm not sure anymore. Do my times look like yours? If so, that's awesome! I'm near ONT and that means it's likely we WILL get them tomorrow. When I thought they always went AK to KY, I thought it'd be Monday for sure. But ONT…awesome!

We share the 5:15 and 4:30 departure times, but mine never made it out of ZhengZhou, according to the tracking info. But you've given me hope :D

OK, I was supposed to get delivered on the 1st, then they pushed it back to 2nd, cool no problem, then they do it again, to the 6th, I can handle it, and now THIS!!!!!View attachment 499797

WTF, Now I don't even have a delivery time anymore. Am I suppose get mad? I have already fried my emotions and expression watching my phone fly over the world. I don't even know what should I do anymore.:confused::mad::mad::p:p:eek::eek::(:(:D:D:eek::eek:
YES, A LOT OF EXPRESSIONS, I AM FRIED

Have pretty much the same exact tracking. Just off by a minute or two. I'm resigned to the fact that the phones are gone and we will be starting over tomorrow at the order received stage with delivery being right at the back end of the original estimate. For me that will be 10/20. Doubt they will make that but for now that's what they will say.

Here's my long winded guess of how I think it went down:

Phones were in shipment that was supposed to arrive in Korea.
When plane landed in Korea they realized that pallet was missing.
Thinking they forgot to load it in China, they send out exception to customer and figure out when they can get it on next plane.
Send customer new date (in my case 10/6 instead of 10/2)
After telling China to add pallet to next manifest, China UPS crew spends next few hours looking for pallet.
China realizes after futile search that the pallet of iPhones has walked out the back door.
UPS contacts Apple and although they accept responsibility, there are no replacements to be had immediately. Apple tells them they will let them know when they can replace an entire pallet.
UPS sends customer new exception that says they have no idea when they will deliver.
That's where it stands now.

Apple will tell UPS in morning it will be 10-14 days for replacement.
I'll wake up to 10/20 delivery estimate tomorrow.
I hope that I'm wrong but all signs point to the original phones already being used in another country by the end of the week.

i cannot imagine the level of psychosis you must have in order to speculate that chain of events :p

I still have an "exception" notice on my listing, but they removed the "could not load plane as scheduled" notation. I initially had monday set as the deliver date, but when they removed the notation, it got switched to friday. So much fun to be had with all of this...
