Good to know! Kinda takes the fun out of watching it move if they don't update the scans....lol!
But I am enjoying communing with you folks!
Well they were probably tracking the numbers and not the package and then in Anchorage they probably did a package scan and realized the package was missing I am assuming same thing that happens with luggage when you travel and they finally tracked it down. Good luck keep us posted on any updates.

it just sucks because i really have no way of knowing if i need to be home for the delivery. i'd be pissed if i go home early to catch the delivery and then it never comes.
You don't have to be, did you sign the Apple release package authorization. Just to be sure in case they do come they can not leave it with out a signature.

The original delivery date was Oct. 13-20. Then 10/6 on the Apple shipping notice. Then 10/2 on UPS all the way through all this
AND ... it's at my local UPS hub this morning and will be delivered TODAY!!! ON TIME!!! Amazing! Absolutely AMAZING!
yeah, i've heard sometimes they just don't leave the package anyways. i'm just not in the mood to get the runaround with this.
How do you get the delivery window? I got a free 6 month trial of UPS choice and can not figure out how to get the delivery window. Everyone I log on and go to the choice window it says I have no upcoming deliveries. How do you link the accounts?

Again, after customs I think the tracking gets better.
After mine did the same weird game of pong going from China, to Hong Kong, to China, to Korea, to China...it arrived in Alaska on 10-1 at 1:11 pm and left there at 2:41 PM. It arrived in Louisville at 12:35 AM on 10/2 (today) and left there at 4:15 AM. I hope it hit up Waffle House. Then it arrived in my city at 5:28 AM and departed at 6:02 AM, then literally arrived again at 6:32 AM and is out for delivery as of 7:00 AM. Not sure why it left and came back this morning but the scans did get better and more believable. Calling UPS and Apple is pointless though. They don't really know until it hits the states. It is clear that there is no way they do know and they'll just read that script about Apple's plans and all that crap.

I ordered mine from apple on the morning of the 20th after canceling my AT&T preorder originally on the 12th. 6+ 64gb Silver. still processing. my local Apple Store is showing they have a 6+ 128gb same color in stock. very tempted to head over there during lunch. I'm impatient lol.
I ordered a 6 plus 64 GB Space Grey for AT&T via Apple.com on 9/24. Eatimated delivery: 10/23-10/30. No movement yet. I hope our phone come early but it isn't looking likely with this UPS mess.
Mine was also stuck in Shanghai since 9/29 but I just had some movement. My phones just got their departure scan and they are heading to Korea or Alaska I guess. Still don't have an updated delivery date. It was originally 10/3 but I'm guessing that isn't going to happen
Doubt I'll get mine on Monday as originally scheduled by UPS. Seems like I only get an update after midnight local time. So basically when I wake up, there is just one update and that's it. Kind of defeats the whole purpose of pre-ordering if I can get it in the store faster. You would have thought they would of sent those phones to people who already gave them their money.
It's pretty clear that since Jobs has passed, the company needs someone on their executive team who has the competence to get the job done to the standards they've set previously.

I don't know about anyone else, but with how off the tracking info has been for UPS I don't feel comfortable pre-signing for something they can't even track accurately. I personally don't feel like jumping through even more hoops then what have already been lined up for us.
I had the same scans but just a day earlier. My phone is being delivered today, a day after the 10/1 Chek Lap Kok scans.
