Depends on what he ordered. If he ordered a 6 that's normal. If he ordered a 6 + then yes that is very lucky for him to see that much movement in such a short time span. I ordered a 6 + 64GB Space Grey for AT&T and I've been processing for 8 days now.

He has a 6+ 128GB on order.

Im in the same situation and hopefully my phone is on the plane with some of you alls in route to Alaska. I have been monitoring this daily and finally seeing some good progress.

Update...

My 6+ will be delivered TODAY on the UPS delivery date. It's at the local UPS hub as I write this and, barring a cataclysm, should be out for delivery in a couple hours.

PS - Amazon is offering a tremendous trade-in ($400 for like new 5S 64 GB Vz) whether you buy your iPhone 6 from them or not. And you have 45 days to send an iPhone to them from the time you sign up!

Maybe this will help someone weather the wait. Here's the sequence my 6+ 128 GB Vz traveled...

Has anyone that did not pre-order but ordered the day of or after (September 19th or after) gotten any movement or had there phone ship yet? What phone did you order? When did you order it? What cellular company is it for? I just figured everyone that didn't pre-order could start talking and see if our orders are shipping early, on time, or later than expected! I ordered 2 64gb through Apple for ATT network the morning of the 19th! I haven't seen any updates or status changes yet! My estimated delivery is Oct 22nd - 27th!

If I'm reading it right the flight out of Shanghai is UPS81 to Anchorage. The same flight number is flying from Anchorage to Louisville arriving at 2:49AM EDT. I'm in New Jersey so not sure if that means it will make it here by tomorrow but if I remember from the past I have gotten packages with about the same timings.

Just got a text message from ups saying From APPLEINC C-O FOXCONN HONGFUJIN PRECI is scheduled for delivery tomorrow by end of day.

But ups website still doesn't say a delivery date.

Well they were probably tracking the numbers and not the package and then in Anchorage they probably did a package scan and realized the package was missing I am assuming same thing that happens with luggage when you travel and they finally tracked it down. Good luck keep us posted on any updates.

Thanks for the investigative work! Here's my status again:

This almost exactly matches my tracking info (times are off by about 20 minutes). Got a text overnight that mine will be delivered between 11 am and 3 pm today, but the last tracking event was a departure scan from Hong Kong, nothing after that. I'm not holding my breath, but maybe the tracking is just messed up...

Ugh, my Anchorage-Louisville flight was delayed by two hours last night, which probably made the difference in delivery getting pushed to tomorrow. This, after the damn thing sat around in Anchorage doing nothing for more than 24 hours.

On top of that, it shows an Import Scan in Louisville. Does this mean that UPS isn't set up to clear planes through Customs in Anchorage, as FedEx is?

Damn, I knew this was going to be a problem the second I saw that UPS had it. FedEx has global logistics down. UPS has proven to me time and time again that it simply doesn't.

Well if you had an original UPS delivery date for 10/02 then I am sure you will get it. It might not have updated but that is more than enough time to get to DC. Update us when you get the Out for delivery email!!!

I am in the same boat. Last scan arrival in Louisville 10/2 at 1:18am. Still shows scheduled for delivery today in MD between 1:45pm and 5:45pm. Hope that holds. Delivery estimate when I ordered (6+, 128GB, SG, ATT) on 9/13 was 10/14-10/21, so quite happy it's early!

Argh! Just updated to expected delivery tomorrow. Oh well ...... Anyone else have arrival in Louisville at 1:18am and still getting it today?

Yeah same situation here but it still says delivery today. I don't see how that's possible...it will probably be delayed until tomorrow unless the information isn't refreshing and it left Kentucky already.

But i just got an update that it was now imported in KY and ups still says arrival by end of day. Maybe there is hope.
