Apple.com preorder thread - iPhone 6/6 Plus

B Team here. Still waiting...
No departed scan or out for delivery. I still have hope seeing how some have gotten lucky. Only time will tell.
 
Destination Scan

My phone has been stuck at "destination scan" for hours and I feel annoyed that I am wasting my Saturday for something that might not even show up!

Finally out of "Preparing for Shipment" purgatory! Last night around 10:00pm I finally got a tracking number.

Currently in ZhengZhou. Was originally scheduled for Oct. 13th, but has been moved up to Oct. 9th (my birthday!). I'm hoping that delivery date sticks, but I'm prepared for it to slip.

B Team here...

Went to the UPS Center since it is down the street and those guys can't seem to lie to protect their jobs at all. Guy told me that because the flight out of KY got delayed, it missed the truck to the center and is supposedly sitting at the airport warehouse. Monday for me.
 
Yay! It was delivered!!! Guess all I needed to do was complain on here, lol. So glad tracking is over!

Label was made for mine last night but no notification or anything yet and it still says preparing...
 
Anybody here who ordered in that Sept. 19th-22nd range got early shipping on the 6+? I have a delivery window of Oct. 21-28, but I wondered if anyone had any luck getting it faster. Still in processing :confused:
 
It's now 10 hours after my phone left a town that is 1 hour away. UPS site still says scheduled delivery is today, yet I am still waiting
 
Just wanted to pop in and confirm - my phone DID arrive today!!!! :eek::cool:

I got fed up at around 11am because it was not marked as 'out for delivery' yet. Called UPS and the said that they showed that it was still to be delivered today.

Left town for a few hours, and as soon as I left town - I got the email saying UPS had delivered it.

After delivery, the UPS tracking showed that it was 'out for delivery' at 7:15am... but it never showed that update until AFTER the phone was actually delivered. Odd... but it is here and I am happy. Restoring from icloud backup as I type this :)

I ordered on the 20th. still in processing but should see some shipment action this coming week. our turn is next!
 
Do you guys think this is accurate? (It's the 6)
I don't know, it just seems extremely quick for me and my phone has been in Seoul for such a long time compared to others so I don't think it will arrive in time, the 8th, but who knows. I'm Just annoyed that the store I went to just sold out when I went and now I have to wait endlessly.

My status just got changed to 'The receiver requested this package to be held for pickup at the UPS facility.' after enroute to my address When I didn't request that pickup, wtf meng.

I woke up this morning to find that they had changed the 8:11AM scan from "out for delivery" to a "destination scan" activity. I also noticed that the scheduled delivery date was updated to 10/6 "by the end of the day." It is starting to look like my iPhone either never made it onto the vehicle for delivery or they accidentally included it with the others being held for pickup. Either way, they screwed up royally. Although I have a scheduled delivery date I don't trust it. This delivery date has been updated a few times during this entire process. It was even delayed 1 day due to UPS sending my package to the wrong location early in the process.

Having already taken Friday off from work to sign for it makes it difficult taking Monday off as well and I have no other way of getting it. The only UPS facility available for me to pick it up at is about a 45 minute drive from where I live and it also has horrible hours. So, I'm basically going to have to take time off from work either way which is not cool.

To make a long story short, UPS sucks! This is the absolute last time I will ever preorder or order another product from Apple since they use UPS a lot of the time.

I definitely agree with you! UPS does suck! What the hell? If you don't get your phone by Monday, I would call Apple and give them an ear full. They may be able to accommodate you some how. The squeaky wheel gets the oil!!

Yes, there's a possibility. Once they get it to hong kong and off to Anchorage, its a breeze. If they can get it to Anchorage by Monday, or even Tuesday, you are IN!

Congrats! I've been playing with mine too! (iPhone 6+, 128g, space grey)... :)
 
Would everyone suggest ordering on Apple.com for subsidized price as opposed to ordering on verizon? Apple.com might ship faster?

After staying at ome for 11 hours, waiting for my phone. I decided to call UPS. They informed me that my phone would not be delivered today. They didn't really give me a reason as to why. They just said it 'reached the cutoff time' I have no idea what that means.
Yesterday, I was ASSURED by three different representatives that I would have my phone TODAY.
I am so ****ing angry

Indeed! Our turn IS next. It's painful to see all these UPS shipping notifications and mine still says "Processing." It's like when the class gets to go on a field trip but you have to stay in school because your parents didn't sign your permission slip. TORTURE! :mad:

Do you realize that our shipment has 'missed the scheduled transfer time' three separate times?? That is COMPLETELY unacceptable.
