I also paid for expedited shipping - $10 for nothing I guess. BTW I ordered a 6+ SG 128 on 10/4 from apple.com- Delivers: Oct 31 - Nov 7 by 2-3 Business Days. We'll see how close they get to that.

Call Apple and tell them that you got charged $10 for Expedited shipping. ALL the iPhones are automatically Expedited. I JUST got off the phone with them and they are gladly taking out the $10. I'm still showing Oct. 31- Nov. 7 shipping by 2-3 Business days.

iPhone 6+ 128 GB for AT&T via Apple Store App.

Ordered Oct. 6

Estimated Delivery Oct.31-Nov.7 by 2-3 Business Days

Still day 9 of preparing for shipment.......I thought for sure I was going to get the shipment notification today but no such luck......

Just another data point...no clue if it's relevant here.

When the last iMac revisions came out we had a similar thread here for that. They were also coming direct from the factory to our homes. What we found out, however, was that there WAS a difference in shipping. The default was UPS Expedited. There was a faster option, however, with FedEx that was shaving some time off the shipments.

Found my post...read it here...I'm curious if it's relevant to our situation too!

so maybe I should keep shipping as is? I mean $10 isn't a deal breaker when you're dealing with a $500+ item

I agree, it's almost creepy....kinda like Facebook stalking.

This past week of Prep for Ship and actually leaving China seems longer than the wait between ordering and the status change from Processing.

That was the worst part of waiting. The preparing to ship stage was horrible!

Yeah, every stage is agonizing in its own way.....
Processing (somewhat tolerable because I knew it would be a while)
Preparing for Shipment......if it isn't shipping in 24 hours don't tell me this yet
Shipped.....GREAT!!!!
Sitting in Sheng Zhou.....Sitting in Incheon......Watching the little plane fly over the Pacific..... ;)

For everyone on the UPS99 flight from Korea. It looks like the same plane leaves for Louisville 3 hours later. Hopefully our phones can make that flight then we'll be sitting pretty

2.5 hours to Anchorage :apple: This year is so much worse than the past couple when I just walked into the store and got a new iPhone. I've been hoping for a larger phone for years.

Couldn't have said it any better! I'm happy they will be in U.S. Territory in about an hour and a half

Would anyone know if UPS flies from Anchorage to SoCal?

Thanks for the flight info

Hi Nickoli23

From the information you uploaded about your order, time and date of execution, it is identical to my order also. Thanks for the flight info. I can now follow the action. My package is expected Thurs, Oct. 9. I originally place this order with Apple Online on the morning of Sept 12 at 4:30AM. Finally, I can see light at the end of the tunnel. Have fun with you iPhone 6 Plus.:):):)

Sorry to inform you ChrisG1.
All UPS flights go to Louisville, KY first.

Regular 6

My order for iPhone 6 64gb SG just went to preparing for shipment. I have seen some that order the 6+ say this step took awhile. Does anybody now the average time before it actually ships for the regular 6? Good luck all

Lets hope they don't do something stupid like unload the entire plane and put different packages on the plane when it heads to Louisville.

To those who got their phones especially tmobile contract free is the estimated total price reflected by apple with sales tax accurate? Or it can be higher? Currently using prepaid credit card to purchase just checking.

When I bought the phone the sales tax was accurate. Which phone are you getting? We bought two iPhone 6 64gb contract free and each phone with tax came out to $810.79. But maybe just to be on the safe side I would add an extra $10-$20.
