Mine just got the departure scan also. I think mine will leave out early tomorrow morning and get put on a truck for delivery. Pre sign already at the door and I'm gonna be on my phone every 3 minutes waiting for the delivery to update lol
Ups actually. Only problem is no movement on tracking yet still says expected 10/10/14.

You trust the pre-sign? I'm opting to drive an hour to UPS because I won't be home for shipment. Contemplated pre sign but don't trust people
One year I did the presign and they still didn't leave it - I was in an apartment and it's up to the driver whether or not to leave it. The driver called me and we arranged a place to meet so I could meet up to sign for it. That was a sign of good customer service.

So it seems the 6 orders are pretty much caught up now, does that seem an accurate assessment?
I think mine made that flight. There was a departure scan 20 min before the flight left. Fingers crossed. Hope they make it onto that 3:20 flight to Louisville.

Website still claims 7-10 days, but mine I ordered October 1 was shipped the next day. I think there is still a real wait for 6+'s.
Just read your original post. I think the trick here is that the UPS service is named "UPS Worldwide Expedited" which is a 4-5 day service from China to the USA. This isn't the "Expedited" service you pay additional for which will shave off a few days.
Meh I guess so but it just bugs me because there is only 1 flight per day to Honolulu and last night they had changed my delivery date to today which I assumed meant that they had already loaded it on the flight.
On a side note, I think it really bothers me because I work in the cargo department for [an airline cargo department] and if we did something like that, we'd have to find another way to get it there on the date that we promised AND refund any money that was paid. Someone would probably get fired for being stupid as well...

just received an email from apple saying they are "working hard on my order" and that it will ship next week. so at least that's something. ordered my 6+ on 9/20. silver 64GB ATT.
