I've finally been scanned in at Los Angeles at 5:14pm.
My delivery status has been changed from Late Afternoon delivery to Early delivery.

Oh, man, that suuuuucks. Ugh. I'm just relieved it's finally almost here. I've been telling jokes to everyone about the adventures my phone's been on while galavanting around Asia. I've projected a personality onto already! LOL!
I got a Power Support Air Jacket but I'm pretty sure I'll be looking for something else.

If you need a heavy duty case in the meantime, consider the Kayscase ArmorHolster 3 Piece. I got mine for $4 on Amazon with a coupon code. It's not the most well-designed, as the top and bottom were slightly covered by the rubber part of the case, but it fits well and you can't complain for the price. It also has a kickstand.
In terms of a slimmer case, the Apple leather case is very good. I got it on launch day as the two other cases I had ordered hadn't arrived yet. Although it seems there is a high rate of imperfect cases. Mine is okay for the most part, but wobbles slightly on a completely flat surface because the bottom left juts out a bit.
I think they are, especially if you want a heavy duty one. I don't know about the basic cases but strong ones that I've gotten were 1) otterbox 2) balistic 3) survivor. Otterbox hasn't released the defender yet for the 6+, so I bought the survivor for now
I would say so. I've had nothing but good experiences with them. Also had the OtterBox Commuter for the 3GS. Fit like a glove. If the 6/6 Plus OtterBoxes are anything like that, I'd rank them among the best heavy duty iPhone cases.
Those do look very nice, hefty price tag though. Very tempting, I just wish they didn't take so long to produce.

Sooooo, after being completely beside myself with the stupidity of UPS and them not realizing they left my package in SDF until 3 hours after departure, I decided to have it held for pickup tomorrow when it reaches Honolulu so I don't have to wait until 8p for the driver to even get to my house...
Yeah, that would be funny if they arrive at the same time. If you order, let us know how much shipping is. I see they're coming from Argentina so I'm curious.
How thick is it compared to the Apple leather case? I got the Apple case for free so am not averse to buying one that would afford more protection, provided it did not add thickness. The Apple case adds minimal thickness and feels good and non-slippery in the hand. OTOH I see that Spigen makes a whole bunch of cases..so many as to be total confusion. I like the idea if a case that adds rigidity and shock protection as well as a kickstand, but am concerned about thickness and weight. And pictures on Amazon are no substitute for seeing the thing for real.
I love the leather Apple case! I feel that it adds the extra rigidity the phone needs to keep it from warping.
I've had mine in my pocket nearly a week now (6+) and it has not shown any sign of bending. But seeing these other cases perhaps made of metal and having a kickstand makes me consider one of those. I already have a Zagg tempered glass on the screen. And the Apple case, of course looks cool and has that nice Apple logo to compensate for the one that the case hides.
