Remember that Korea relies on hand scanners, it may have not been scanned for departure and already in a flight out, unlikely the case but it is possible

Rescheduled Delivery
Final Destination = Houston, TX, here's my story...
Ordered Late 9/25: Through Apple Website - ATT 64GB Space Gray iPhone 6 Plus.
On 10/22: I get a shipping notice from UPS/Apple.
UPS=10/28 delivery date. Apple=10/30 delivery date.
10/22: Arrive in ZhengZhou, China.
10/23: Depart ZhengZhou, China.
10/23: Arrive in Incheon, Korea. (here comes the waiting...)
On 10/27: I sign up for UPS My Choice because I'm growing impatient. Then I get an email that night from UPS saying that my package will be delivered Tomorrow (10/28) as scheduled. My hopes are now up, thinking that my phone has been in the middle of a pallet of 1000 iphones and simply wasn't getting scanned as it passed through Alaska, Louisville, and Houston.
Morning of 10/28: I go back and check the UPS Tracking Link and now it says...
10/28 (3:53PM): Your package is in transit. We're updating plans to schedule your delivery.
10/28 (10:38PM): Pkg shipped; delivery being scheduled.
(Also the "On-Time Arrow" at the top has now changed to "Rescheduled Delivery")
I will be extremely pissed if UPS has just let my phone sit in Incheon, Korea since last Thursday (5 DAYS), as I know there have been several flights since then. My guess is that Apple (Foxconn/China) is pumping out the phones faster than UPS can ship them and they are just sitting in a UPS Airport Warehouse waiting for their flight que. And the Delivery Dates are estimated as if they weren't sitting in a warehouse for a week.
I'll update everyone on what rescheduled date they give me or if my phone miraculously shows up at my door today.

Same here, mine arrived at Incheon on 10/24 @ 7:37pm and it now shows it departed on 10/28 @ 10:00pm KDT. Since UPS99 took off, it should be landing in Anchorage at 1pm ADT which is like 3pm EST. I don't see how they will make the estimated delivery time of 10/29 end of day to NYC. Atleast it's moving. During this wait I watched the National Geographic TV documentary on how UPS works on YouTube, lol.

That's what doesn't make sense, why are some leaving from Incheon in mere hours while others are waiting days. It can't be a customs issue or bottlenecking because then everyone's phones would be stuck in Korea for days. Just doesn't make sense.
Mine changed to preparing to ship as well.

Did you pay for expedited shipping? Maybe this is what's happening since I paid for it maybe it got thrown ahead of those who didn't pay for it?
What were your original shipping dates? I ordered October 7th and still nothing.

I'm getting depressed about this. I received an email from My Choice saying my package would arrive tomorrow (as scheduled), but when I look on the website, it still shows it is sitting in Incheon. The fact the arrow still says "In transit, on time" feels like a long troll from UPS. I've been waiting since 9/26, what's a few more days?

Apple said Nov 5-10 expected delivery date. UPS said Oct 29.

Got (auto) UPS email just after midnight today saying delivery on the 29th. Doubtful. Thinking the Nov 5-10 by Apple is correct.
But why are the dates so different? How does Apple know UPS tracking dates better than UPS? Unless it's all third party until it gets to US? Wish they would have better alignment/communication between the companies.
Anyway, stepping back to take a breath. Perspective is wiser than me. I'm thankful to be able to afford it and I've had to wait for things much longer with no tracking in times of yore. This is my favorite first world problem to have.
