These phones are shipped by the pallet. The box should have been shrink wrapped. File a claim with UPS!
Sigh, got my iPhone 6 plus today, there seems to be a speck of dust underneath the glass, right below the FaceTime camera ... After a month of waiting...:/
Received my iPhone plus 2 days before apples estimated delivery. Happily downloaded my apps, I like starting each phone as new. Took it out at the local mall with out dropping it! I see everyone else who seemed to be shipping out of China on the same ship got theirs also. It's been a great day playing w my new toy all day. I even love my new cheapo case from eBay.

Took off from work, picked up the phone from UPS 11/5/2014
Got home, opened box, smudges under the plastic on the screen and a nice scratch. NOT happy.
About to contact Apple

Not sure it would show up in a pic, it is about a 3/4 " hairline scratch almost at the top.
Is it a big deal? Yes and no. I didn't pay $500+ and wait five weeks to get a scratched phone out of the box. I have an appt tonight at the Genius bar to get it replaced, they have them in stock.
Okay. I ordered a SG 6+ through sprints website so hopefully ill get it soon
Just ordered a case for the iphone 6 plus. I wonder what I'll get first? my phone or case. lol
Funny how life works. I ordered a case one night from Amazon via regular shipping, in no rush since my phone wasn't going to be here any time soon. Amazon shipped it that night with overnight shipping and I had it the next day. Never before Amazon had gotten anything to me so fast. Even when I paid extra.
I had to file a claim with Apple. 24 hours later i got a email saying they will be sending me out a replacement phone. I was told 5-10 days. We shall see.

I did check the weight it came in at 0.37 KG. Spoke to apple yesterday and they launched a investigation. received a email a few minutes ago saying they will be shipping out a replacement. Was told 5-10 days.

Space gray is better than the silver iPhone. I am choosing my space gray and returning the iPhone 6+ silver 128 gb. Wifey doesn't want it so it's going back.

My phone is on same plane as yours. I've been checking previous posters' progress and it's pretty normal for phones to ship day before from Alaska. There were some posters who's plane didn't leave Alaska 'till almost 6pm and didn't make it in time for the following day delivery. But 99.9% chance you'll get it tomorrow if history is any indication. Once they hit KY things happen pretty fast.
That's great to hear. Hopefully we'll both get our phones tomorrow. I'm in shock how fast these things are shipped.
I never did. But my wait was/is relatively short compared to most others here.
About 2 weeks after. Everything occurred pretty close to apples timeline. Most likely you'll get your phone a couple days before estimated delivery date.
Mine arrived in Anchorage, Alaska on on 11/3, Louisville on 11/5 and Jamaica, NY on 11/5. On truck for delivery as scheduled today 11/6.
If we are both on for 11/6, I find it odd that mine had scans for further travel to mainland USA than yours. Did you check today if it is out for delivery?

I checked my order status last night, and the Verizon system now shows an actual order number instead of a pre-order number. It also has a blank for tracking number, but there's nothing listed in that line.
I'm assuming that's a good sign...
Does anyone here know how long it will stay in this status or how long it will take for me to get a tracking number?

Check the verizon order thread. Get a better idea from there for those who ordered from Verizon.
Update - Received My 6plus earlier this week and it was stole during shipping. Filed claim with UPS and Apple. Apple is ovenighting me a new phone will have in hands tomorrow. Very impressed because my expectations was this was going to be a long drawn out process.
