I also ordered SG 6+ 128GB on 10/30. Preparing for shipment & Cc has been charged! I've been following this thread for a while mainly to see if people were getting their phones earlier than expected in hopes that I would too. My original estimated delivery was Dec 1-8. I recieved the working hard email on the 14th saying my device will be shipped between Nov 21-28.
I have read on these forums that after Cc is charged and preparing for shipment that it ships next day while some people had to wait a few days. So I am hoping to see that email soon. Do they ship on weekends?

My card was charged, I received a delivery date from UPS along with a tracking number, my iPhone moved the first step to Inchon, Korea and then it has sat there for 3 days. My delivery date is this coming Tuesday in San Diego.

So it appears that my iPhone is kept on the side in Korea until it gets close to the delivery date and then is put back into the flow. So the most important date will be the delivery date you get on the tracking number from UPS. The tracking number will appear once the i Phone ships from the FoxConn factory and is delivered to UPS and enters their system.

BTW my iPhone is still sitting in Korea so I hope it gets on a plane today!!

Here it comes on UPS flight 99 that left Inchon, Korea about 3 hours ago on it's way to Anchorage. It sat in Korea for almost 4 days but got moving just in time to make it's scheduled delivery tomorrow.

So don't worry if your iPhone is hanging around somewhere, as long as it still has a on time delivery statement your probably OK.

Yours and my husband's are traveling together and his is also scheduled for delivery tomorrow. T-Mobile iPhone 6, SG, 64 GB ordered on 10/30. Mine (same phone in silver) was ordered at the same time and has been here since Thursday. He's starting to get a little jealous. :D

The delay in Korea seems to be pretty normal if you read through this thread. There must just be a ton of stuff that needs to move from Asia to the states, and unless it's on some sort of two day shipping, it gets put to the back of the line until they absolutely have to get it here.

My phone did the same thing but I highly doubt well have our phones until wednesday even with the scheduled delivery still saying its going to come in tomorrow. The phone still has to travel to Louisville tonight and I doubt it'll be able to go from there to my doorstep tomorrow.

Change delivery address?

Looking at my current ship date estimate, if our order ships early (or a little late) we will not be at our home address. Has anyone modified the ship-to address at a late date? Is it best to do it with the carrier or with Apple?

Thanks in advance.

Call UPS as soon as you can, don't call Apple, it's out of their hands now.

Finally getting my iPhone

I originally ordered my iPhone on 10/6 through AT&T. After having it back ordered where AT&T had a given me a shipping date of December 15-25, I cancelled the order and ordered through Apple on 11/6. Yesterday I received an email from Apple that the iPhone shipped and I will receive it tomorrow, 11/19 via UPS

I am very happy to finally getting my iPhone that I have been trying to get since the beginning of October, however, what I am not happy with is the way this roll-out happened. Every other iPhone I purchased I either got it on launch day or within the first week. AT&T has been a joke. In fact my roommate ordered a new iPhone this past Friday through the same AT&T store mine was originally ordered from and he basically got his phone the next business day, having received it yesterday. Granted he got the Gold version, as opposed to the Space Gray that I ordered.

The problem just doesn't end with the iPhone, they also messed up with the iPad Air 2 as well. I ordered from AT&T a 128GB LTE SG model from AT&T and then having that back ordered as well. A day or two later received notice that it was shipped and would receive it in a week. Waited a week when the iPad came opened it up and it was silver, not space gray. I ended up keeping the silver, just because I was fed up with the wait already, I also didn't want to wait another 2-3 weeks for a replacement iPad. I know these are not Apple's problems, but AT&T, it's just this whole experience this year leaves something to be desired. Apple and AT&T both need to work on their distribution systems to get these products out there. There is no reason that I could see why availability at this pint is so bad.

Mine originally said mechanical problems but changed to weather later.

I know, mine did too. I couldn't sleep last night for other reasons, so I checked it periodically. At one point I also saw the "left behind in our warehouse" message, but that one & the mechanical failure one were both gone from the record when I finally got up this morning.

Oh well. Husband's phone left Louisville at around 3 this afternoon, hopefully on a plane to the west coast. With any luck, everyone else's did too!

Mine landed at the local airport 20 minutes ago so I expect to see it tomorrow. Finally!

I think ours did too. UPS has two flights here from Louisville that land within an hour of each other, and nothing else scheduled for today, so I'm thinking it's on one of those.

Sadly, they never make it to our house before 6 anymore (mine came at 7:30 PM last week, which is nuts!), so we still have a bit of a wait here tomorrow. But soon...very soon...!

Thanks. At this point one of my two on order phones has moved to 'preparing to ship'. We are traveling, in different cities, so not sure where we actually will need to send it to. What is the next phase? Is it 'shipped'? May call Apple customer service to see if they can give me a better idea on the actual ship date so we can decide where the best address is for it to go to.... But if it goes to 'shipped' will definitely contact the company it is shipping through (UPS) to understand the best strategy.
