My order is still processing, but my credit card was charged today. Mine is for in store pick-up and says available 9/19. My leather case has been shipped and I have a tracking number for that but no delivery date yet. At this point I'm confident that my phone will be available on Friday. I'm getting the Verizon Space Gray 6 16 GB. This morning it was still available on the Apple site to order for 9/19, but is now saying available to ship 7-10 business days.
 
Finally got through to Apple Store support after an hour and a half today on hold and they noted that the last few days hold times have been upwards of 3 hours. They also said that if you are getting yours shipped for delivery on the 19th and you ordered on the Apple Store you are one of a very small minority. Most people are getting theirs shipped much later.
 
Only if your state has a sales tax. This is the only time when I'd like to have one.

I wish my state didn't have sales tax as that would have saved me almost $140 between my wife's and my phone. She's getting her 6 on Friday, but I'm one of the 10/1-10/6 orders for my 6+.

I bet most of use that had a sept 19 date ordered through the Apple Store app since that started working 2.5 hours before the site did.
 
My order status shows Preparing for Shipment Delivers: 9/19 by Standard Shipping, however, I got an automated phone call from FedEx this afternoon stating that it won't be delivered until the 22nd. They gave me a tracking number but I didn't write it down.

That stinks at least it's only a few days not weeks
 
I'm only worried because I've read a lot of others who have said that Apple either charged them the full amount already, or that there is a pending charge on their CC. These people are those that aren't having their phones delivered on 9/19. I'm just hoping for the best at this point.

Well I just meant that I think it may be too early to have a real worry. I was probably one of the first group to get mine preordered and nothing showed up until today so I just think they are working them little by little. If your order is there and you see nothing wrong, I think you just have to give it a couple days. I mean it was just Friday and who knows how many preorders there were.

The plot thickens... UPS is delivering my phone, not FedEx. I got a notice from UPS My Choice.

I cancelled my 6 Plus order. I wonder if AT&T shipped it by mistake, or at least generated a label with FedEx and they notified me. The reason I cancelled the 6 Plus is because delivery times were in to November.

I keep checking my ups my choice and FedEx but Apple hasn't shown a tracking number just yet. But I'm in no rush just yet

You should just tell them to hold it at fedex and u will pick it up

Was it charged the full amount? I received a $0 charge from apple right after I placed my order. I am also doing an in-store pickup and it still says 9/19 pickup but no full charge for Sprint Silver 6 plus 16GB

Mine is also for in store pick up on 9/19 and I was charged the full amount this morning.

I had no charge until I looked this afternoon and the whole amount is charged under temporary authorizations. The temporary authorization for the case went on my credit card Friday and is still there but I received an e-mail from Apple that the case has shipped and I have a tracking number for that.

I had the charge for the case on my credit card website early Friday, but when I looked later it was gone. I called the credit card company and was told it was still showing on their end and no idea why I could no longer see it. I think all this is normal and I'm just not used to looking at charges on my credit card to verify a purchase.

I was notified by an e-mail from Apple yesterday that my leather case has shipped and the e-mail contained the tracking number.

Typically, AT&T uses UPS and Apple uses FedEx.
