Ok. This was helpful. Can you help me explain something? I ordered my 6+ on the apple store app at 2:24 CDT and got a 9/19 delivery date. My phone is prepared for shipping, but has no tracking number using my phone number as a reference number on ups.com. It also does not show up here in my support profile.

My wife had a 'bit' more trouble. She got her 6+ ordered on the apple store at 2:36 CDT and got the same 9/19 delivery date. Her phone is also prepared for shipping, and she does have a tracking number using her phone number as a reference on ups.com and her phone shows up her support profile.

Any logical reason for the difference?

It's probably not in such a chronological order like that. I also got mine before a friend who ordered his phone 10 minutes before I was able to get my order in. They are probably just knocking out the whole list as certain batches of models are going out. Maybe the 6+ in silvers are going out before the 6 in gray is going out or something like that is always possible.

Probably (hopefully) true. My wife got a gold 128 and I got a silver 128 so maybe they are just batch processing. We'll see on Friday of one box arrives or two! Thanks for the insight.

I wouldn't sweat it if you ordered from apple and it says its coming the 19th, they always are accurate on their delivery dates...should be there.
 
So i was late to the party and my shipping time is 3-4 weeks. I used my verizon 2 year upgrade on the 6+. I am toying with the idea of lining up Friday. Has anyone had issues with their vzw upgrade by canceling a preorder day of launch to use it in store?

I was wondering why mine doesn't show as it has been on the support page for about a day and others are getting tracking through reference as soon as theirs is listed. Go figure. Maybe they are releasing by color or maybe just randomly. I know last year I cringed when people that ordered later than me got more info sooner than me. No rhyme or reason that I can tell. Maybe getting about 9,000,000 phones stresses the " logistics" :).

When I talked to a VZW rep Friday she said that as long as you cancel any pre-order the upgrade goes back on the account immediately. Thats what I did. I cancelled my Verizon order and finished an apple reservation. The upgrade came right back.
 
No updates on my order yet, but mine is in the 7-10 day window. Hoping it gets bumped up, but I doubt it.

I was finally able to get through and place the order around 3:35AM or 12:35AM Pacific.
 
I was able to reserve an iphone 6+ 64gb silver at 4:22 AM Central (in Fort Worth, TX). It was the situation where they sent the email the next day to complete the buying process. My 6+ and it's serial number are showing up in my support list and status is "preparing for shipment". I'm so excited I can hardly stand myself. No tracking number as of yet. I was using the iPad app for the order.

Mine was also a successful reservation - ordered around 1PM EST the next day, preparing for shipment to deliver 9/19!!

64GB, + gold

I give the whole reservation thing an A+, despite having no idea what it meant at the time.

My 6+ hasn't showed either and I did as you did with the app. Wondering if they are processing the 6's first

Made the mistake of making an international purchase at 1am and got an email from Capital One asking me about suspicious activity and it had my iPhone purchase on the list.

I called them up and they told me none of the charges were blocked, so that's a relief! I had a moment of panic thinking I was in trouble.

It's cool. Something similar happened to me and a friend and Apple lets you sort out any issues and process payment again.
 
I'm finally preparing for shipment, is this the stage we'd be able to track by number with a MyUPS account? I checked and it showed nothing honestly though kind of hope it's shipped via FedEx instead they delivered my 5 and always come by 10AM. :D

Seems the vast majority of the orders so far are ups. The phone won't show in the shipping at least until its in your support profile from what can be told so far.
