I think we should create a new thread for this, because I have the same issue as you and the same model.
Relax people, relax. You will get your iphones before anyone in your neighborhood.
I am sure that by now all the iphones are being delivered to the shipment company.
Apple always send the iphones almost one day before the date specified.
Right now an army of employees are preparing everything to deliver millions of iphones on September 19.

My 6 (t-mobile 64gb gold) has been shipped. Apple.com still lists it as "preparing for shipping. It was ordered 9:40 am (pacific time) on Friday.

One of my phones showed tracking via reference this morning, nothing on the other one yet. They were both ordered using the same Apple account so I wonder how the tracking via reference will work if they are both associated with the same phone number.

As far as I can tell after going through this with the iPhone 4, iPhone 5, and iPad Air, models are grouped by type and destination, then palleted and freighted.
Probably because it takes extra time to cross the USA and all shipments come from China, east coast orders are almost always shipped out first to holding areas near the destination, whereas west coast orders get shipped directly. So, if you can't find your tracking number yet and are on the west coast, your phone will be on a later shipment and may not leave China until Wednesday night or Thursday morning. If you are in the midwest or east coast and close to a fedex/ups shipping hub, yours may be direct deliver since it will take no time to get from the hub to your office/home.
With the iPhone 5, I swear my model and destination was the very last pallet to go out on the very last flight--it didn't leave china until Thursday PM PDT, but it arrived Friday morning just like it was supposed to. (Embarrassingly, I freaked out and wrote an email to Tim Cook on that Wednesday, then facepalmed at myself about 48 hours later)
It's also possible that UPS is uploading tracking info earlier than FedEx and half the orders are coming FedEx. All of my Apple.com orders have always been delivered by FedEx, though Apple does like to mix it up.

I ordered 2 both associated with one number, when I tracked by that number it only shows on ups tracking number but the 2 phones show up in the support profile pages. One is a 6 128g and the other a 6 64g.
I read on another site that they don't show up on the support profile till they ship. Here's hoping!!!

See if you credit card put a hold on the payment. Do it quickly so you can still get by Friday.
I have three phones coming to the same billing phone number (the landline attached to the card used for payment). When I looked that number up in the reference field, all three phones showed up on ups, with three seperate tracking numbers.
Ordered around 3:30AM EDT on the Apple Store app. My order for my AT&T 6 Plus 64GB in Space Grey is "Preparing for Shipment" right now.

9/14 - Seems like there is some buzz about getting ups tracking numbers at www.ups.com when you search by reference. Will update when we get more verification.

Looks like tracking numbers are flowing in for the preorders (if you search by reference) and UPS or FedEx.
Just putting first post in thread since it has some good information.
So all I am getting is that mine is that there has been a label created on 9/13/14, but I am not see where it's coming from. It says it will be here on 9/19, but I think it would be cool if I could tell if it was shipping from China. Anywhere special to see the info?
I've got the serial in my support profile and my order is prepping for shipment, but I can't pull it up by either billing phone or order number on UPS or FedEx. Guess I'll just have to be patient .
.No, it's said that the entire time. I spoke to someone late friday night to change my shipping address and she made the comment about being one of the lucky few to get it on release day.
