Apple.com preorder thread - iPhone 6/6 Plus

My 6 Plus is still preparing for shipment and I think I have been attempting to check it correctly on the support profile and its still not there. My case has shipped however, and its also coming from Harrisburg, PA like a lot of people are reporting their phones are coming from. Obviously Apple has a large stock of phones and accessories in that spot.

The case is going to be delivered tomorrow, so I could post some pictures so people can get some impressions if they would like. At least this will give me a better idea of the size of the phone in person, haha.
 
Anyone with a case, does tracking say .60 pounds? Mine just showed up, but with 2 tracking numbers for some reason. In Rialto, CA.

Sometime in a couple of weeks

2. they would just cancel the preorder if still in processing status and let you buy the phone from target.

Not a bad idea...but I bet we won't have much tracking to talk about on that thread, but it would be interesting to see who else has an iPhone waiting for them in Southern California.

One of two of my iPhones ordered is also sitting in Rialto, CA. No Tracking on the second phone.

Yes, mines coming out of Rialto and shipped today (0.60lbs). Should have it tomorrow.
Looks like iPhone will also be coming out of Rialto. Apple must have a new logistics and shipping warehouse out here now.

So close yet so far... 80 mile drive.

I have the same delivery date range. My orders are still processing and I ordered 2 ATT iPhone 6+ 128gb silver and received confirmation email 1:03AM PST.

If you're in SoCal, the phones will be distributed from Ingram Micro (who handles Apple's logistics in the US) in Eastvale, CA to the shipping carrier this week.
 
Still in Preparing for Shipment purgatory. I know that my address change on Friday didn't hurt things. I just hope to see the next step (a tracking number and it in my support profile) tomorrow.

Mine shows .50 pounds and is coming from Nashville, TN. UPS tracking currently shows scheduled delivery on Wednesday the 17th.
 
Go to the UPS website, go to tracking information, go to track by reference... Type in your phone number, country and zip code... It worked for me. It says my iphone 6 + departed ZhengZhou, China on Monday 09/15/2014...:apple:
 
If i do the reference phone number thing, will it pop up multiple shipments if they exist? I only ask because I already have a case on the way, the phone would be a 2nd shipment. When I typed my number in earlier it only popped up the case shipping.
 
Ordered an ATT Iphone 6 16gb from the apple store and got a 19th delivery date but am stuck on preparing to ship. Nothing shows up when trying to track with the reference numbers and theres nothing on my support profile. Anyone else?
 
For those shipping out of China

We should see some movement tomorrow. Hopefully coming into Alaska then off to Memphis (if I remember correctly from iPhone 5 launch).

Sadly I've already tried all the phone numbers and the Apple order number, plus the order number minus last 2 digits.. Etc..

I'm in Canada and I've seen many in Canada unable to find theirs too. We shall see :p
 
So, due to the website being down and despite my best efforts trying like 20 times in the app while I was on the clock at 2AM, I ended up in the Oct 1-6 group. I was pissed but had resigned myself. Now I'm trying hard not to get my hopes up too much because I randomly clicked on my UPS app on my iPhone and SAW A PACKAGE FROM APPLE! It's of course in Order Processed: Ready for UPS status from UPS and Processing Items from Apple but I'm really hoping this means it will get here on launch day.

For those that can't get a reference number to work, sign up for a free UPS MyChoice account. It shows you inbound packages to your address and you can do cool things like have them hold your iPhone at your UPS Customer Center (where the trucks get loaded for delivery) and that way you can pick it up as soon as they open instead of playing the OMG WHERE IS THE TRUCK OMG THERE IS A TRUCK DAMN ITS JUST THE FURNITURE GUYS dance we all know we do on launch day. I swear my UPS center hates me because I will have them hold like 19 Amazon packages at a time, but hey at least I get to pick it up on my schedule instead of theirs. Also good if you don't have someone to sign for you.
