Apple.com preorder thread - iPhone 6/6 Plus

When will the domestic (US) phones ship....?

My guess is all orders in China will move no later than today for delivery on the 19th. Many of course are already on their way. Will it be tonight, tomorrow morning or not until Thursday that the domestic (US) phones move?

UPS is awesome with overnight, but will they deliver to local hubs a day early? I'm not sure Apple wants a bunch of iPhones sitting for very long at some of these local hubs. I think they will depart late Wednesday so they are not at local hubs until the Late Thursday/early Friday morning sort. Just my guess...

I have also no tracking number yet and I probably was one of the first :p
Mine is still at 'preparing for shipment' but I can see the phone in my support profile.
You shouldn't worry. ;)

I wouldn't go that far. The one that has cleared and has tracking info on UPS still shows preparing for shipment. I just think they have so many orders to process that things aren't quite updating normally. Since the one that does show tracking says next day air as the type, I won;t get too worried today. Technically its going to sit pretty much where its at now until at least tomorrow anyways.
 
Just noticed my 6 and 6+ in my support profile as well. I ordered the 6+ at around 3:14est and the 6 at around 3:35ish. Good to see things moving along with so many preorders.
 
Ordered an AT&T 64GB 6 Plus in Space Grey Friday the 12th from the iPad app at 3:30am and got a delivery date of 9/19... still says "Preparing for Shipment" as of 9:25am EDT. Lame...

wait what? Mine still says 10/14-10/21 from the Apple website.

on a side note, are you charged before Apple processes the order?

Comforting to know someone else has the same issue as me. My orders weren't as far apart as yours but see the same circumstances. I have been able to locate tracking and see 1 serial iin my supportprofile, but the second order seems to be up int he air. What really concerns me is the hold on my card for the second order disappeared which is common for purchases of the same value back to back, and hasn't returned yet. The first one cleared today, so I'm hoping to see something change today.

My pending charge also disappeared but it's in my support profile and trackable on ups website. I anticipate it will be charged again when the apple site switches from preparing for shipment to shipped. ?
 
Still preparing for shipment and nothing in support profile yet. :(

Ok seriously though how do you find out your manufacture date and all that stuff people keep talking about?

True but i don't want to raise something that huge to my ear its just not natural , tbh the size of the 5S is perfect so little annoyed they went with a 4.7 but will see how it goes :) love the look of it though and looking forward to getting it

Any of ya got pushed up?

For the people that originally had "Available to ship: 3 - 4 weeks Delivers: Oct 14 - Oct 21", did your status get pushed up to earlier dates?
 
WTF, the pending charged of my iphone on my credit card is not longer showing in my statement, should i be worry about this? my order still says preparing for shipment, its' just odd that the pending charge went away :confused:

Anybody else had a similar issue?

Ok. So I called Bank of America and I asked why is both of my apple transactions still in processing. They said apple is still in hold for them. Wtf. She said most likely 2-3 business days it to go through. So I'm guessing tomorrow it will go through. The have charged and taken out of my available balance on my side, just not there's for some reason. I'm scared because I have the delivery dates on both phones 9/19. I'm just scared they get bumped for the transaction going in this late. You guys think that's possible or it will go by the order of my my orders?

Found my 6 Plus in my Apple Support Profile and that made me feel better about my order preparing for shipment. Hooray!
