Tata own borh Jaguar and Land Rover since 2008. They did invest a lot in those companies and kept them as British brands. Unfortunately people at Land Rover did nothing to make the cars reliable and Jaguar design staff totally gone wild.

Why did Apple not make sure Tata had security protocols in place?
Nah they’re officially Too Big to Fail.
They were already bailed out when they had an even worse cyber attack last year.

Number of accounts posting the leaks over on the X app, not much to see though, except for the A20 Pro chip setup which seems like it will be a lot better at heat dissipation versus A19 Pro, but other than that nothing earth shattering.

The images of the smaller Face ID and front-facing selfie camera cutout, instead of a still-smaller round hole punch for just the front camera, seem to add further evidence to the idea that Apple has figured out how to put not just Face ID's flood illuminator under the display, which is just a small part, but also the infrared camera that reads the dots that the IR illuminator projects onto your face. The IR illuminator will probably still be under the clear cutout that the front camera will be under, since Apple hasn't finished implementing getting that part to push its dot beams through the display layer wtihout distortion.

What surprises me is that it sounds like Apple may not audit their suppliers often [enough] to ensure compliance standards are rigorously followed.

Not totally wild. Ferrari made JLR look ok. But, yeah, TCS are alledged to be responsible for the hack that took their factories offline and for shutting the e-commerce side of a national retailer for over a month.
Apple should be more concerned if they had data on their next generation iPhone.

Insider leaks are the new security issue. This is probably a bribery situation made to look like a cyber-attack.
But if you build them in the US, you can not sell them in India. India is four times the size of the US and is the largest country by population. Apple can't ignore India because the potential for growth there is huge.
