Facebook would say that because they are all about tracking after all. They can't stand by and watch then being lost...
However, this all could blow up in Apple's face anyway... How do we know this tracking "asking an app not to track me" is not the same optional as "Do not track" feature Apple "pulled" from Safari, whee companies are not required to comply ? The only difference, its adverting. Apple got THAT message quickly enough.. are we repeating it again here?
