Wait... here’s somebody POINTING out that this is not exclusive to Apple and now they are being shown the door by proving in their experience this “ring” is endemic of these “smart speakers”.

Stop being completely dishonest. He was telling someone to point out news articles about the sonos making rings. If you actually read and comprehend my post you will see THATS what I replied to. Is english not your first language? Its not mine but I seem to comprehend it better. Why should ANYONE spoon feed you or anyone else news articles about a non apple product on an apple product forum???

“Please post an article about the Sonos circles.”

Funny how I don't have connectivity issues with anything else.
Give it up. He claims to have mines working from his ios devices.

You can’t argue with narcissistic attitudes that thinks everyone elses experiences are clones of his. There are several here.

Dude deal with that FACT I have my own HomePod and I have NO ring on my WOOD furniture since it’s sat there — since the day it was released.

The “issue” is not exclusive to HomePod. Items of all kinds can and do leave “marks” on a multitude of surfaces.

What are you on? Stop deflecting, being dishonest and try actually reading what you reply to. I said NOTHING WHATSOEVER about the ring. NOTHING. I told someone that wanted another member to post links to sonos ring reviews to go to a sonos forum for sonos links. I said NOTHING about the rings. So I don’t have to deal with anything. Point out where I said it was only a homepod problem. You cannot! How old are you?

I could care less about you OR your homepod.

Dude, You really do not comprehend english, do you? Jeezus. Adios!

Cue promo with Jonny Ive softly intoning "We designed Homepod to not only leave an impression on you, but also a permanent mark on your surroundings. The precision crafted base, leaves an imprint of a perfect geometric circle, one of nature's purest forms, which also functions as a reminder of the optimum sonic location of the Homepod, should you choose to temporarily move it".

good grief....did apple NOT know this?????
it doesn't leave a mark on glass. I think their new office is entirely glass. Glass walls, glass doors, glass tables, glass plates, glass, um glasses. Who could have known that the world's oldest furniture material would prove itself unworthy of the engineering here.
