Looking forward to watching it live. Hopefully there won't be any problems with the stream like last year.

Time to brush up my Chinese skills.
While you're at it brush up on your memory skills. That issue was 3 shows ago and the last two streams from Apple have been perfect. Why am I not surprised? This forum dwells on everything Apple does wrong and has a very short or convenient loss of memory of anything they do right. Sad really.

Remember when Sony was cool and every gadget they made people were like crazy for get it! Sony was a great company, it was part of a generation, my friends identify with it. "you need to hear it on my Sony walkman, man.. sounds way better" then... BOOM! Sony became a cold business. Boring, I don't give a d... kind of company and now its just a company right there in the corner... a type of "If I need it and it's cheap I buy it" company... Sad, right?

Well I'm starting to feel the same about Apple. I was so in love with Apple.... now I just buy stuff I need to work with but not to have fun with... get it? It's like a "If I have the money I buy that if not whatever" kind of company.

Next Apple TV will be like the Apple Watch... not that magical. Exactly.

i think that's called overexposure or desensitization. hanging out on apple-centric sites tends to act as a catalyst for such things.

beating a dead horse is just an inescapable fact of social life. it's just magnified now that anytime you find (or discuss) something on the internet there's still 482 people and their grandmothers finding out about it 2 years later. in the interim, expect the same jokes in daily cycles.

I picked up an Apple TV when they went on sale for $69 dollars because I figured "why not." Don't hear much about them so I wasn't expecting much. but I was very very impressed with it. It only has room to improve and get better. I use mine everyday and absolutely love HBO go, trailers, itunes radio, airplay, and being able to rent movies directly from my iTunes account. If it gets an app store, siri, a7-a8 chip i'll buy one the day it comes out. I'm in love with the product. If eventually Apple puts out a barebones cable service at a decent price i'll jump on it right away and cut the cord. I firmly believe it has the potential to be an ace in the hole for apple.

It's just what people like to do. It's always more fun to talk about the mistakes, blunders, and rejects than it is to talk about the "every thing went according to plan" situations. My professor used to always say, "Do a million great things and become respected, but all it takes is one mistake and suddenly that's all everyone can talk about."

I think it's annoying too. The first thing I thought when I read this article was "how many people will post a 'Chinese' comment?" Don't expect it to go away anytime soon though, it will probably be a permanent live stream joke now. Just look a all the "you're x-ing it wrong" comments!

I want to know which sessions they are live streaming. I assume it will just be the ones in the main hall but I wonder if it will be more.

As an American English speaker, my reaction was, "A sparrow's what?!?!" It's being streamed from the U.S., so I think you may be disappointed. ;)

Looked it up and understand now, but never heard that one before. Perhaps Jony Ive will talk about "aluminium" to make all the non-American viewers happy. :D

Just as an FYI, the keynote that had the Chinese voiceover was streamed from the U.S.
You just had to live outside of the U.S. To experience it :)

This post refers to a possible launch of OS X 11.

Isn't it supposed to be OS X 10.11, or does it mean the actual version 11?

Just stop. That issue was 3 events ago. Apple's last two streams have been spot on. For goodness sake.
I know it was 3 events ago, I am just saying I hope there won't be similar problems. It was very annoying for us the viewers is all. In 2014 / 2015 ... Apple being the biggest tech company in the world - I would have thought they would have it all down.

Nobody has replied about the chinese thing yet?

You really disappoint me. Here I go:

My Mandarin is ready

Does anyone know how long it takes before these keynotes are up on the site to watch after? I can't watch it live.

Normally about two hours, although Apple have been getting much quicker at this! YouTube upload however is normally about 8 hours after event..
