I can't help but be worried that certain companies would pull their content licensing with Hulu if Apple bought it just because some people dislike Apple.
Apple needs to buy Netflix, not Hulu and hopefully one day buy Adobe and Autodesk.
sorry but do not want Apple to get Hulu. They would lock it down and make sure only Apple devices work on it.
Yeah just like they shutdown iTunes. Apple doesn't want to be in the content business.![]()
Would this make Hulu another wart on the bloated pig named Itunes? That mess needs to be split up into several applications that have a little focus.
Warthog!
All I know is that iTunes is bloated. Apple needs to have a separate apps for music, TVs, books and movies. I'm sure they are working on this.![]()
well lets see iTunes is pretty limited on the computers and pretty much crap on PCs.
But what works with iTunes. Lets see Apple TV, Apple iPod, Apple iPhone. Hmmm seems like Apple only stuff.
Android phone nope not going to work, Stream to Xbox nope again.
I could see Apple killing off most of hulu stuff and limiting it to only Apple products. Not going to work with Android phones like currently and so on.
I think you missed the argument. I honestly hate the Apple eco system lock down.
Apple needs to buy Netflix, not Hulu and hopefully one day buy Adobe and Autodesk.
I still don't get how this benefits Apple. Apple already has a video distrobution platform.![]()
Sorry, but I was personally hoping Google would get this, as I am a big fan of YouTube, and I think that Hulu would be a great addition to it.
Let me simplify it for you: say you have a fancy ice-cream shop, and people line up outside your store to buy your $25 banana split. Then one day another ice-cream shop opens across the street from you. Problem is they give out unlimited banana splits for a low monthly fee. What would you do to survive such competition? Well, you could always buy that shop across the street and CLOSE IT. Got it?
So you are trying to tell me that you can't purchase music or movies from the iTunes store and use them on non-Apple devices?
Do you know how much ice cream you'd have to sell to make up for that wasteful spending? Too much. Especially when your sales are already consistenly "the best ever" quarter after quarter. Your simplification doesn't add up.
You call 2% of disposable cash wasteful spending? Lmfao. In the land of ignorant consumers, monopolization is king. Btw I'm not explaining this one.
