If we just could get this en Europa I will be happy
Is it really that hard to get the contract worked out?

Since i have not tried it yet i do not have a comment regarding that

fix the selection

Stop fiddling with less-important stuff.

The important stuff is:-
1. expand the playlist so tunes do not repeat after twenty minutes or so
2. fix whatever is generating the "You're listening to iTunes Radio" messages, up to seven times in a row. Yes - SEVEN

Then you can start thinking about better presentation of the good stuff you've done, and not before.

If awareness is an issue then i suggest doing a stand alone app but still keeping the option of getting into itunes radio through the music app..I shuffle between itunes radio and my music quite a bit and would hate to exit out of the music app and open another app to do that.

APparently it is , as even Pandora has struggled to get its radio out beyond 2 or 3 countries.

how about make it available for canadians first

(yes i know i can use it if i have a US account but it's a pain switching accounts)

This would be a good move since a big reason I continue to defer to Pandora first is ease of accessibility.

Now Apple needs to actually get their stations in line because at times it seems like they have no idea what genres should be played.

Each day iTunes Radio is not available in Europe, Apple gives market to other musing services like Spotify. Releasing iTunes Radio in more countries should be what Apple is considering.

You don't think they are working towards this? Licensing outside of the US is a bit more complicated. Here in the US you have the four major labels and it's done faster. Overseas, especially in europe...they all want different terms from country to country.

Personally, I am into this for one reason. I hate iTunes Radio. Sometimes in the morning I plug in my headphones, double click the mic button on the headphones and iTunes Radio starts. All data plans are capped here in Japan so I am trying to save data. Additionally, I think the algorithm of iTunes Radio is awful. Pandora and iTunes Radio slowly bring you up to more and more main stream stuff. For example put in Converge, soon you'll have deftones, and before you know it Limp bisket (barf). Last FM was the best, put in a band you like and they slowly take you underground and introduce you to new stuff!
So if I can just never have to deal with it or better yet not have install it or delete it with a jailbreak tweak.

Otherwise I agree that having the videos in the "iPod" app was better. I find that I use the video less now.

(I know some people like iTunes Radio and that is fine. Some people also like pandora which is fine too. For me it's spotify, last fm, soundcloud and grooveshark. Different needs.)

I am not interested in more applications that I can't remove. Honestly many of the Apple default applications can be combined into a single productivity, entertainment, and shopping (app store and iTunes store) apps.

I think it is a good idea to get the user base up. I tell a lot of people to use iTunes Radio instead of pandora and they say "what's that".

rebrand iTunes

Its ridiculous to go to an online media store to buy and rent movies and videos and have it called iTunes.

So, how about re-branding iTunes as a radio/music only product and then come out with a new brand for Apple's walled media garden.

Of course, I am aware of that. But still it's an unwanted app that I don't care to use.
No it's not, its a feature of another app. And when it becomes standalone, we don't know, if it will be deletable (like the Podcast app) or not (like the Newsstand app). All we know is, the icon will move from inside the music app to right on the home screen.
Heck, if they go that route what's stopping them from making iMessage a standalone app since they can have a larger percentage of users using that.
iMessage is a standalone app. And SMS is a feature of it. Only for backward compatibility with feature phones and forward compatibility with non-apple smartphones. Otherwise SMS has no point to exist any longer. iMessage has replaced it, not integrated with it.
I find it better for it being in the App Store and giving users a choice to download it or not, I don't use iTunes Radio at all.
You might just get what you want.

Well, it's a feature... I don't care to use. Whereas if it will become a standalone app.. It would be an app I don't care to use.

I'm not trying to make a big deal out of it, it's not like if it's something that would push me away from using iDevices. But if this is gonna be such a WOW feature for iOS 8... I just hope that this doesn't take too much attention from other areas of the iOS that needs to be attended to... *hint* QuickReply :)

I think this pink looks gay. And gay is good. But I'm not female and I dislike these new iOS colors.

Good point. Everyone should also be running the early Mac OS.

How about 1) fixing the issue where a song can play more than once in very short order, and 2) making the new music finder half as good as pandora's? Do whatever you want with the icon because it's so inferior to pandora that I can't see why anyone would use it right now anyway.
