No one wants to be on the Time Machine support team, for example. As evidenced by the total crap that is Time Machine.
I assume that is staffed by one poor sap named Brian.

I hear it depends which side of the bed Tim gets out of.Digital Foundry just put out a video yesterday talking about Metal 4’s new functions that seem to focus on games. The Metal 4 announcements were joined with another “Cyberpunk 2077 on Mac this year” announcement so it seems like we are again in Apple’s on-again phase for Mac gaming. I do wonder how long it will be until Apple goes back to their off-again phase though.
I think what they meant in that comment was "no car manufacturers want", at least that's how I read it. But I agree, I would love CarPlay Ultra and annoyed with how little info we've gotten.Respectfully disagree on CarPlay Ultra. Want.
20 years from now, Harvard business school will have Apple as a case report example about how not sticking to its core skills and core consumer needs leads to the end of a company...
“We’ve learned and struggled for a few years here figuring out how to make a decent phone,” he said. “PC guys are not going to just figure this out. They’re not going to just walk in.”
Porsche and Aston Martin say “Hi!”I think he meant no manufacturers want it. End users probably do.
Agreed! And loved that Max didn’t even want to go to their silly Times Square event but rather race in EuropeI'm an F1 fan and have followed the sport since the 80's and I think this film looks rubbish, I was annoyed with how it took over last season too. F1 driver egos are already big enough, now they'll be in a film on the big screen! Oh dear lol.
Silly comment. Of course they are not the same people. It’s the money and effort distribution that is causing holes in their core product. Keep your eyes on the ball…is not what Apple are doing at all. It's almost like software engineers don't work on the film projects, so that wont be a problem. There are different departments and hiring staff to make a new department make no difference to other departments.
We are aware some makers backed away from CP Ultra, like those who have silly software such as Merc, but the following 16 brands (some of which have the same parent company) remain committed:I think what they meant in that comment was "no car manufacturers want", at least that's how I read it. Like increasing iphone prices?😅This movie better do well or Apple might start considering changes.
I have absolutely no comprehension of what in the world you are talking about. "Stuck in adolescence"--what does that even mean? And whatever it means, how can you apply that to the entire "older generation?"🤭
But it totally tracks that my parents' generation wants to see themselves as the heroes in their own story, even as the world gives plenty of evidence to the contrary. The older generation is, ironically, stuck in adolescence.
They might still surprise us with new iOS update with f1 wallpaper 😅i think the only thing apple has not done is force an ad on the lock screen for this.. Guess what apple, i aint interested.
I've never seen it, or an F1 race, so I have no idea, but I will trust your judgement.Drive to survive messed up and ruined f1 bloody Netflix

According to the Wikipedia page for Ford v. Ferrari, it only made about twice its budget at the box office: ~$100m to make, $200m in ticket sales. I was under the assumption that these things need to double their money to break even after marketing and theaters getting a percentage of those ticket sales.Didn't Ford v Ferrari do quite well? If so, then there might actually be a market for this movie.
Since I surprised myself by liking Ford v Ferrari, I will likely watch F1 as well. But I'll be danged if I spend $$$ on going to a theater to watch a movie that will eventually show up on Apple TV+, which I already spend my hard earned $$$ to subscribe to.
Didn’t Apple already say they were scaling back all theatrical releases when Argylle, Killers of the Flower Moon and Napoleon all failed to deliver box office success? This movie better do well or Apple might start considering changes.
