I'm hoping for a fix for the following bugs...
1. Using back button in Finder window does not recognize .DSSTORE file.
2. Spotlight defaults to hard drive rather than folder being searched.
3. Mail crashing when using right-click
If they fix these 3, I will be very happy with![]()
I dont get you people, im talking about the ones who go on and on about leopard or apples products
Our imac has never had problems and leopard is great, all our ipods work great and our iphone works great too no sign of any of the problems you people whinge about, i reckon your just unlucky, apples products may have bugs and stuff, none of which effect me.

Well that's good that nothing affects you, but believe it or not, there is a lot of people who do have problems.
And "whinge" about..? Really, stop acting like a big guy here. People pay a premium price for Apple's products, and it is only fair and expected that when they don't work as advertised, people will complain and discuss the issues they are having.
Maybe you just "don't get" the whole idea of this website being a community forum where the majority of discussions are dealing with problems and issues users are faced with.
Need to change your title.
On topic: I guess I'll finally reinstall Leopard and give it another go. I switched back right after installation because of it's instability.

1. We don't pay premium prices, we pay the right price for very good products.
2. Users on these forums always cry like babies and sometimes (not always) their problems are users errors (and quite noone read istructions, 90% of support where i work are for crap things but these users will not stop to post on forums and say "i have problems")
Anyway i agree that lately most probles could be avoided by Apple with more testing. But just go to try Windows for 3-5 days... i have done it for work and damn... it is sooo crap imho.
I love Apple's products but they're not perfect, and acting defensive and pretending that they are perfect just makes you look silly.

Will be interested to see if my bugs fall into this lot of 125 or however many it is now. Will not be holding my breath.
Amazing how Apple can drop the ball on the "little things" that can be fixed in less than an hour. Interface errors should prove the most embarrassing.

Well, that is true, Catfish. When Tiger came out, there were a few (not many) annoyances there as well. However, I was more patient because people were losing data due to Security Vault.Data loss issues and security holes are generally considered much more embarrassing for the engineer(s) responsible for them.
Any news about the update ?
I strongly hope that Apple can add also the fix for these inconsistent error during syncronization with MobileMe. All my contacts data are still ONLY in the Cloud and there's no way to syncronize these data with my empty Address Book into my mac![]()
I'm surprised we haven't seen it by now. Possibly it's more evidence that new laptops will arrive in the next month, and 10.5.5 will be released around the same time.
