If you want out of control UIs from an out of control mobile OS, you are more than free to buy a OnePlus One or a Samsung Galaxy.

lol I love apologists like you. Having a simple box in which you can type and save notes is now "out of control."

I guess if you want an OS made to look at instead of actually use, get an iPhone.

I think it's a worthwhile "War". If an app is THAT important to a user, stick it in the dock!

Pity Apple didn't get it straight from the outset, however. Would've saved them a black eye.

Well then you'd better have no more than four important apps. Otherwise, may God help your soul 'cause Apple won't.

Yeah, we cleared that up earlier. I was half-wrong. There are actually two calculators now. I didn't know about the new one in the notification area.

I must say, I get the impression Yosemite is in a half-baked transition stage right now: New functionality is present, but the old stuff hasn't yet been removed.

And then there's the whole issue with Aperture/iPhoto and the non-appearance of their unified successor (which leaves an iCloud photo hole). And things like the iOS camera roll that was removed and then quickly re-instated.

An unpolished performance overall. Even a little out of control. Not what I expect from Apple

It's all about prioritizing and focus. My soul will be fine. Thanks anyway! :)
