You're saying the Alienware that has 3 USB-A 3.0 ports and a thunderbolt 3 port...Macbook Pro has 4 USB-C ports where all are Thunderbolt 3 capable (so essentially you have 4x thunderbolt 3 ports). Not sure how Alienware is considered "more"
Maybe I'm not communicating effectively. With the Mac, we would need a hub or adapter to use the RED card reader, the USB mouse. I don't want to buy a pro laptop and have adapters running off of it. And, again, Thunderbolt can daisy chain up to 6 so I'm not sure why you keep hyping that the Macbook Pro has 4.
Do you know how many Thunderbolt cables you'll find at Walmart in the middle of the night? Thunderbolt mice? It's a hassle. I'm on-site at a client's and they come up to me with a USB mouse or a USB thumb drive?
Not sure how having fewer interface choices is "more".
What’s pathetic is your claiming that you can’t connect the iPhone to a MBP that only has USB-C ports.
Why do you continue to post this lie, I already corrected you several weeks ago:

It is NOT a lie. You cannot connect an iPhone 6, 7 or 8 unless you buy a cable.
We all know Cable exists. That does not mean that Apple has no USB 3 ports to connect all the recent realeased iPhones that did NOT come with USB-C to lighting cable. So the only one that is posting lies is you.
It is pathetic that in 2019 you cannot connect the most Apple sold product, the iPhone to your own computer.
That shows, the incompetence of Apple
“It is pathetic that in 2019 you cannot connect the most Apple sold product, the iPhone to your own computer”
- “you cannot even connect the best selling product from the same company (iPhone)”
are outright lies that I’ve called you out on before.
- “It is quite pathetic that you cannot connect Apple best selling product to your own computer.”
I hope you can remember the difference between not being able to connect at all vs. simply needing to use the proper cable.
Stop trying to deflect. The issue isn’t whether or not failing to include a USB-A port on MBP or a USB-C cable in the box was a mistake. You are sad. Those are not lies since iPhone users that own iPhones that do NOT come with the "proper USB-C to lighting cable CAN NOT connect to a Macbook, unless you BUY the proper cable. Having to buy an extra cable to connect your own iphone to another Apple product shows how bad and so out of touch Apple design team has become.
Regardless of what you think, it is my opinion (and many many Apple users) that not including a single USB-A was a mistake.
“iPhones that do NOT come with the "proper USB-C to lighting cable CAN NOT connect to a Macbook, unless you BUY the proper cable.”
Dismissing huge margins by citing stuff like R&D etc ... meanwhile, just look at the actual profits (profit, not revenue) they have according to their own earning reports. The whole argument falls apart when looking at the actual numbers.
Example: NOTHING can justify the ridiculous SSD upgrade prices (even with same performance metrics) but pure greed. Greed which begins to damage their image.
