I imagine all but guaranteed to eventually no longer offer stand alone purchases, subscription is almost certainly the future. But imagine they will want to build up it's value proposition a bit more over a few years including a Lightroom competitor (Photomator) and additional unique features to the apps, before pulling the rug on the one time purchases.

I cancelled my Adobe subscription 2 years ago and moved to Luinare NEO. You can still purchase Luminare NEO, and if you like, you can use the subscription plan for these features. If they really change to a full subscription plan, then I will change to LibreOffice.
