What are your thoughts on the Apple credit card?

Great if you can always use Apple Pay for the 2% and have an Apple savings account to auto deposit the cash back in.

If you value perks, rewards, or better customer service then look elsewhere.

I think it’s pretty good but there are better cards if you’re only looking at the cash back or benefits.

Pros would be super easy account management in the Wallet app. You can’t beat the bill due at the end of the month and no scammy delayed payments.

For cashback rewards, there are better options, but the 12 monthly no interest installments and 3% cashback on Apple purchases is great if you do buy a lot from Apple. and I do like the way I can handle payments and see the statement on my phone

Thanks to @Sheepish-Lord @russell_314 and @Bandoholic for mentioning there are better cash back deals. My primary credit card use is for groceries. I spent a few minutes looking at other cards offered by my existing banks and found a 3% cash back for grocery stores and dining that will also give me a bonus for getting the card.

The Apple Card is great for interest-free installments for Apple gear. The cash back is a nice perk, but as you and others have stated, there are many "better" deals out there.

I will say that for my wife and me, it's ended a lot of arguments about receipts. I am one of the few (apparently) who still track all transactions and balance my accounts monthly... and every month I was missing many receipts for her expenditures. With the Apple Card, when she spends money, the transaction is added my my view of the credit card, and it's a no-hassle way to keep tabs on monthly spending. Of course, there are ways of tracking spending with other accounts (checking/debit cards/credit cards), but this is just effortless.

Just saw this... food for thought, I suppose...

Totally agree that their customer support is top notch. I had an issue a while back and was quickly connected to an English speaking representative. He understood the issue and it was quickly resolved. The entire process took less than 20 minutes. I suspect it would have taken at least two hours with some of my other cards.

If easy bill management and payment is important to you then you can’t go wrong with Apple Card. No other card I have comes close in that category.

If maximizing cash back is most important there are a few cards that come to mind. Discover has a quarterly rotating category that gives 5% up to $75. Right now it’s Walmart and grocery stores. That’s a very good one. Sometimes it’s not as useful though.
