Ahead of the launch of iOS 13, iPadOS, and macOS Catalina, Apple has updated its iCloud.com beta site with a fresh look and a new Reminders app (via Federico Vittici).

The beta version of iCloud.com has a plain white interface with smaller icons, and rather than a Settings app, there's now an "Account Settings" section.

Most of the beta iCloud apps are identical to the iCloud apps available through the standard iCloud.com website, with Mail, Contacts, Photos, Notes, iCloud Drive, Pages, Numbers, Keynote, Find Friends, and Find iPhone unchanged.

There is a new Reminders app on beta.iCloud.com though, which mirrors the iOS Reminders app and allows iCloud users to create, view, and manage their tasks.

The new version of iCloud.com will likely go live following the launch of iOS 13 and Apple's other new software this fall.

It works for Safari 90 beta but not Mojave 10.4.6 Safari.

I want third party iCloud apps.

Everything (pretty much) that you can do on an iPhone or a Mac you should be able to do in iCloud. Just login... and access your entire digital life.

iOS apps aren't WebKit apps. They're ObjC/C/C++/Swift/AppKit/UIKit applications.

Write to your app developers! shame on them for not providing this functionality. Or are you saying you want an iCloudOS? Maybe Android Licorice Sticks will beat Apple to this innovation

Most third-party apps already have a web version... Not sure putting them on iCloud makes much sense.

interesting that they still have Find Friends & Find iPhone still segregated on the site. anyone know why it appears the two wont be merged on icloud.com?

Thats only on the iCloud.com beta site for now

When is Apple going to change the name to Apple Cloud?

I like that: "google cloud", "buy stuff cloud", "Windows Cloud", "Bixby Cloud"

On High Sierra, can't get the beta site to work with Safari 12.1.2, but it works if I use Firefox 69 and Edge 78. How idiotic

I’m sure Tim Apple would love to do that. I get the feeling he detests the "i" prefix.

Still no iMessages support. This isn't the 2000s anymore.
I don’t think that’s going to happen. If they made iMessage web enabled, then the Android people could use it, as you don’t need an Apple device to create an iCloud account. At least I DON’T think you need an Apple device.

edit: you can create an Apple ID without an Apple device, say for iCloud integration on Windows and maybe Apple Music, but can’t create an iCloud account.
