Love it! Reminds me I should share my photography.

Also let me say I’d love to see an entire movie using this talent and whatever hardware it took to make it. For you naysayers maybe it should be “A Christmas Carol” :D

ABSOLUTELY!
I noticed it instantly. Marketing is all about attention to detail. How the hell can Apple show a video with Adobe Premiere open - along with Google Chrome and Firefox on the bar but no icon of FCPX? I know that it's promoting iMac but not remotely professional to show her using rival products and saying how wonderful the whole experience is. Seriously this is really really bad on Apple's part! Some marketing person seriously needs to get fired over this.

The other ads were super. I loved the colour one.

Apple makes money of hardware sales and they are obviously in good terms with Adobe, no need to fire anyone.

It's important that Apple plays well with key partners like Adobe, not a negative.

ABSOLUTELY!

Google engineering videos or behind the scenes show them using macOS all the time — it’s not a 1:1 comparison but still

How come she wasn't using an iPad?

I know, right? I mean, all 3 of those "making of" videos showed using an iMac or Macbook Pro as the main tool. What's with that, Apple? I thought you just spent a bunch of ad money to tell us the iPad is the only computer we need?

:p

This ad did nothing for me. Nothing like the one from a few years ago with the kid using his iPhone to make a home movie of his family. Even the one with Andra Day and Stevie Wonder was better than this, last years sucked too.

Agreed. The animation was poor with silly looking deformed people and the main character is simply unattractive with ugly busy hair, freckled face and lightbulb body. This was not a good ad unless I read that it was created entirely by an 8 year old.

Sorry, for some reason I really dislike this ad. Maybe it’s due to another annoyingly politically correct, androgynous protagonist, or the fact that the ad is 2 minutes too long? I don’t know, didn’t do much for me and felt very unApple-like.
