I agree. They keep making it harder to look for cross platform apps. I have iPhone, iPad, Mac, and ATV.. so I give preference to apps from companies that support all the platforms. Apps that sync between devices I’m more likely to get. Why can’t I see ALL the apps? I understand I can’t buy a Mac app on an iPhone, but at least search them all from the same place.It is still a pain to only be able to get to the iOS App Store on an iOS device. It was so much easier when I could access it from iTunes on macOS.
I'm doing exactly this, though I do wonder how much longer it'll work.
Yep. . . still running 12.6.2. No plans to update until there is a good reason or I screw up. ;-)
iTunes 12.6.3 is working just fine with me. I'm running High Sierra and syncing two devices both running iOS 11 and all is well.Does 10.6.3 work with High Sierra? That's ONE of the reasons I haven't gone to HS on my main machine.
Does 10.6.3 handle iOS11? I have an iPad Air (1) that will stay on iOS10 until they pry it from my cold dead fingers, or things really improve -- haha, but I also had an iPad mini 3 that I upgraded and 10.6.3 didn't seem to like it. That would be ONE of the reasons for not upgrading the Air.
Thanks!
Actually, you can get to the old-style listing in iTunes 12.7 as well — at least for now... Click on the developer name on the new preview pages, and you'll get an old-school "iTunes Preview" page, and if you click the "View in iTunes" button there, it will take you to the same search results within iTunes. If you then click on an app, you're shown the page for that app within iTunes, using the same old design as before. It's slightly convoluted workaround, but it sounds more complicated than it is — it's actually only three clicks to get there.Nice cleanup but ..
Too bad that you cannot check the reviews by date or by ratings anymore. Same in iOS
Ratings = useless
To check those you need to go in the Mac App store or to have iTunes 12.6.3
