Israel The Apple Watch Nike+ comes with a collection of exclusive features baked into the device's hardware, including the new Nike+ Run Club app, so users can get the most out of running with the Apple Watch as possible. In the new press release, Apple also confirmed that the Nike Sport Bands will be sold exclusively in Apple Watch Nike+ collections, and not be sold separately.

Otherwise, the Nike device is the same as all of the other Series 2 Apple Watches, with built-in GPS, "the brightest display Apple has ever made," and water resistance up to 50 meters. Apple Watch Nike+ will be available in 38 mm at $369 and in 42 mm at $399 from Apple.com, Nike.com, Apple retail stores, "select" Nike retail stores, and some department stores including Macy's and DICK'S Sporting Goods.

They have the Nike logo on. They are for the Nike Apple Watch.

It makes sense.

I was more just making a poor pun (just do it=Nike's slogan). That being said, I don't think that is a factor. The Hermes bands have their logo on them and you can now purchase them separate. I think down the road you will be able to get them separate, but for now they want you to buy the whole package.

Suppose there are 1000 comments on MacRumors than why do you still proceed to comment? Will someone get to read what you typed?

Oh yeah. "Just Do It". I get it..

True. I agree. For a while they'll want you to buy the watch but after a while they'll sell them separately.

Wearables is a growing market, smart watches not so much. That is an older report and lumps all wearables together. Guess you haven't seen the 3Q "smart watch" numbers on the main page.

You mean the quart right before the new AW and didn't the new Pebbles just come out. This market will not be like the cell phone market, it will be more like the tablet market with people buying a new one every 3-5 years.

Honestly, the Nike band is one of the reason why I didn't wait. Imagine you running under the hot sun with your new Nike Apple Watch, and you had a new tan. On your wrist, however, you found something interesting" Part where it's tanned, part where it's not tanned. Guess how that happened?

What happens to folks that need a replacement band, or would like a second band with the other Nike color?

It's kind of cool looking but it's just a sport band with holes in it. I could create the same thing with a normal sport band and a hole punch.

I wonder how quickly these will go on discount at Best Buy or Target. I might buy one on Black Friday if the discount is large enough ($50-$80 off) If not, I'll wait until they go on sale at third party sellers.

I think it's a bit more involved than that.
A hole punch would make a sport band look hideous.
