I see that the Studio ships with a mains power lead, rather than an external power brick. This means that the machine contains a PSU.

This is not a good thing.

Why?

Most people really have an active dislike for 'brick on a rope' power supplies. I had a TV that had over 3 feet of cable (1 meter?) between the brick and the connector to the TV, and it was a major pain. Either they are far too long, or ridiculously too short. My bike trainer 'brick on a rope' puts the brick directly under the deluge of sweat. Sweat and AC power do not mix well...

End the brick on a rope, for me anyway...
