I find it hilarious that there’s still people on the internet that think people are buying business tools for bragging rights.

Time is money, and if you need the tool now and the extra performance saves you time, it’s money you get back.

My M3 Ultra paid for itself extremely quickly.

Think we should have a pole one the forum, seeing as most people who have upgraded their Macs in the last five to ten years will have seen anything up to a fourfold increase in performance, maybe we should ask them are they now enjoying a fourfold increase in income. Don't think it works like that personally, rendering may be four times faster in 3D but getting to that point is still just as slow and mostly I am reliant on the real time renderer for look dev, problem is this is still Apples weakest attribute, half the speed of Nvidia
