You all do remember when the first iPad came out, right?

Then the iPad 2 came out and it was significantly thinner while adding front and rear cameras.

I imagine the next WATCH will be a lot slimmer and keep its 18-hour battery life, and just a select few of us will be a little bitter.

Or, it could keep the same thickness, but add a camera and increase its battery life by 50%.

Those are my two guesses for the WATCH 2.

The Apple watch (because of the price of some of the ) will be a lot like iMacs and MacBooks. You buy one, knowing you will be owning it for a good while. It's nothing you just upgrade yearly like the iPhone or even the iPad for some of us.

There my opinion anyway, and the way I look at it. You will always get those people who want the latest and greatest and so will sell their old watches.

Are you kidding me? A camera would be amazing. Face time using the watch would be the coolest thing ever.

Have you considered the ergonomics of holding your wrist up for a long time? It may appear "cool" at first, but this idea is a really poor one, considering the HUGE potential for arm and wrist fatigue, not to mention looking a little bit silly (people say photographers who use iPads as cameras look silly, so how much *sillier* would this look? [point: the iPad camera issue doesn't bother me - it's GOT a camera, and I am gonna use it as that is why it is there]).

Ya I saw that on The Verge review as well and was confused. Maybe he was mistaken, or maybe is just looks like there is a gap when in fact there isn't? I meant to look for this during my try on appointment but I was too excited and forgot to check. The display looked beautiful to me though so if there is a gap, I think you'd have to look for it to notice it.

Scroll down to the part where it talks about the display and you can see where it says it is laminated.

There is 110% no screen gap on either the sport or the watch models there defiantly laminated. I think he was referring to the large bezel but who knows.
