Package arrived today via FedEx 2 day. It includes a disc (version 10.6.3) in a paper sleeve, and a thick CD sized book titled Software License Agreement For Max OS X Snow Leopard.
Same here, extra 24hr delay I guess due to that big wet expanse called the Atlantic Ocean.

Slight nitpick that they didn't use boxed versions (loose discs tend to get lost) but it was gratis so it's a bit churlish to complain.

Windows Vista users have iCloud. That's a slightly older vintage than Leopard, let alone Snow Leopard.
I still can't get my head around that. Baffling, insane decision that a 6 year old Windows OS supports iCloud but a 2.5 year old Mac OS doesn't.

Untill of course you consider the cynical commercial reasoning, at which point you just shake your head in disgust at Apple.

Just curious if anyone else received a Damaged Snow Leopard Disc. Though being a Apple Geek, I'm running Lion on my machines, I still have an old MobileMe Account I have yet upgraded, and I took advantage by signing up for a free copy. I got it today (Shipped Friday via Fedex 2 Day) and when I opened it up, I found a bent SL disc. Even though I was just going to put it in my Software Basket anyway, I still went ahead and called Apple and after about 25 min of transfers, I finally got directed to a Supervisor and got a new disc shipped on its way.

^ Your photo is not working.

Ironically, you could have hosted it on your still-functioning public folder on MobileMe, a feature that will be disappearing with the "upgrade" to iCloud.

Just got my disc in the mail but cant download it because I have 2.3 GB free and it needs 74.2 GB, when I go to the apple icon it show I have processor 2 GHz Intel Core Duo, Memory 1 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM... Anyone have a clue as what I can do?

I assume you mean 7.42GB, not 74.2GB (which wouldn't fit on a Bluray, let alone a DVD). Your other stats are basically meaningless, btw, as they ahve nothing to do with hard drive capacity or free space.

Basically, you need to delete some crap, or upgrade your hard drive. Running with only 2.3GB free isn't a good idea anyways and is certainly causing a performance hit for you right now.
