Alan Dye staying as head of software design is a disappointment.
I predict iOS 17 calculator will get the same loving treatment he did to Books and will be just a blank white screen with operators hidden under the share button and numbers hidden under the ellipsis button.

They made books on iPad way more convoluted when changing view settings. The Logic of whoever designed the changes isn’t my Logic.

Kinda akin to how iPhone wallpaper settings were changed so we can swap ‘wallpaper sets’ when really what we most often want to do is change the picture, and that’s more convoluted now.
