And? Does not make iPhones not computers. Or is that A10 Fusion just a banana?

If they would stop touting their iPads as desktop replacements then I'd agree with you. But iPads do not have a practical use. If it can run Autodesk then I'd have nothing to complain about.

Well, I've been delighted that my 6 year old 21.5" iMac that I was grumbling about for half its lifespan seems to be flying along now, while its newer, bigger brother is in surgery. It is wonderful to have a machine that "just works."

Apple senior reps have gone to bat for me 3x in the last 10 months too, so that keeps me hanging in.

So, practical use means running AutoDesk products? I don't think you're in touch with the average computer user's practical needs.

Over the last few days I've read several new rumor articles about the upcoming macbooks, but not a peep here at MACrumors. Geez.

My early 2011 MBP died. I replaced the HD and the cable but it still won't boot. #&$%@! It's unbelievable to me that Apple has no updated notebooks for sale except that useless MB thing. I need a real computer. Hackintosh is sounding better and better.

I don't know how they conducted their survey, but sounds like paid participants who doesn't know what computer is.

There's no way at this time that apple is still leading in pc market..including Mac pro users.
(well...i guess mbp users would help increase that)

The questions: what's the definition of pc satisfaction? Is this including everyone? or just mobile pcs?

Dear Mac Rumors

Thank you for running this article. However, you seem to have included a black 'trash can' shaped object to the left of the Macs. We don't know what that is, so can you please remove it from the photograph? It's almost as if we have a product that we've forgotten exists and are totally ignoring. As we're rated so high in customer satisfaction, that can't possibly be the case so it must be an error on your part.

Wonder if the interviews were before or after the melting Samsung smartphone problems.

Might be a different score if recent Samsung customers were surveyed.

Or if the survey were done before or after the iPhone 7 launch as I'm sure Apple would have declined for the first time in 13 years and Samsung would be on top. Plenty of angry people not able to get their iPhone 7's on promised dates.

I always thought they pride themselves in iPhones and iPhone accessories.

"Getting impatient" seems to be the understatement of the year where folk's online reactions to the Mac lineup are concerned.

apple makes computers?

Yes, they do. They dig up the components from under ancient Sumerian archeological sites, dust them off, and solder them into shiny aluminum enclosures and sell them for the same price you could buy current parts for from a different OEM.

Over 1000 days and counting on a Mac Pro which wasn't even very good when it was new.

For my experience, you're better off finding a Linux distro you like and using that over a Hackintosh. A lot of pain to set up and when you're done it doesn't quite feel like macOS, it feels, well, like a Linux distro. At least with Linux the setup and installation is easier.

That may have just been my experience. But it just really did not seem like it was worth the effort to me.
