One of life's oldest dilemma

I see nothing wrong with this app. It is not overtly sexual as the breasts are covered and by a bra that is not even remotely sexy looking. I think it's up to the end-users own imagination to sexualize it. Besides, breasts are the primary nutrition source of the majority of infants in this world. It is also socially acceptable to breastfeed in public. Apple really shouldn't be shunning this app - it's basically shunning womanhood. I would like to hear what some of the woman on this board think about this app.

All wrong. Apple thinks this would be more appropriate for the 3D screens of the future.

And, there is an app for women in 3D as well.

Well, it is legally protected to breastfeed in public in most states. A store cannot ask a woman nursing a baby to leave or refrain from feeding the baby. Whether or not you feel it is "socially acceptable" is another discussion...

As far as this app goes: as someone who minored in women's studies, I feel like I should be upset, but the reality is that it is no more disquieting than stopping for a coffee at 7-11 and seeing that they sell hustler. Just because these things exist doesn't mean I have to interact with it personally. I am a firm believer in freedom of speech, and if I want to convince people that boob shaking apps objectify women, yadda yadda, then the answer is not to throw a fit and ban the app. The answer is to open a discussion about the app, and give people the choice, while trying to get them to make their own decisions. (and for the record, I think the app is kind of funny. but then again, I like boobies.)

hahaha nope just dont need to hear your bedtime stories on an open forum haha, but im not one to object to boob applications.

Oh well in that case you didn't 'get it'. :p

"You make me wish I had three hands" is a quote from the film Total Recall as someone posted earlier.

80s movies are great. You must be from a more recent era. And Total Recall was an entertaining movie.

An application that allows iPhone users to wobble a pair of breasts has been rejected by Apple's application store, denying iPhone geeks the nearest thing to sex they'll get this holiday season.

The application was rejected on the grounds of "objectionable content", though with the caveat: "If you believe that you can make the necessary changes so that iBoobs does not violate the iPhone SDK Agreement we encourage you to do so." Though it's hard to see how that wouldn't detract from the core proposition:
The Register [w/ video].

Apple are such spoil sports ( . )( . )

I think maybe a larger top or and maybe an option for a 1-piece should make it passable..

;)

Sure it is! I see it all the time - in the mall, in parks, etc. Can you think of any reason why a baby needing to eat would be offensive? Now, of course, I always see them with well-placed a blanket over them, but they're still breastfeeding.

This app is more amusing than sexually arousing or offensive.

I'm just waiting for the big fat ass that we can jiggle. Throw in some fart sounds too, Apple seems to like that feature.
