Hilarious because it's true!

Only problem is apple apologists won't get this. And the excuse? "This laptop isn't meant for you. Buy other models"

I really hope microsofts sp4 comes and destroys apples MacBook Air and new MacBook line. Well the sp3 already does this!

It is all about use case and for me a tablet/laptop combination is the worst of both worlds.

I have a 2013 rMBP 13 and it's the perfect combination of portability power and connectivity for my work and play.

The new macbook would be perfect for a person on the run who works mainly in the cloud.

Does it make compromises for thinness and lightness?? Of course it does!!! Do those compromises make it a bad everyday computer?? Not at all. Will the silicon catch up to the design?? I think it will, probably by next year with skylake and much more wireless connectivity options...

This is just like the 1st macbook Air in 2008 and look how that turned out Apples most popular computer for the last 5 years once the silicon caught up to the design.

The feature I envy the most of the new MacBook is not the new trackpad, keyboard or terraced battery even being great. The feature I would like to have in my rMBP 15'' is the ability to work fanlessly. I like silence while working, and I have it most of the time, but there are those times when fans start spinning.

I realize this may very well be some generations away. I also realize what compromises that may bring in.

Eh, debatable about whether or not the Surface Pro 3 wrecks the Air.
I didn't get the SP3 for a reason. But to each his own.

"This laptop isn't meant for you. Buy other models"
It is incredibly naive to think that any notebook made by any company is designed to meet everyone's needs. Common sense would suggest that any user evaluate their own needs and proposed uses for a computer and then compare that to each specific model being considered. If the model doesn't meet the needs, find one that does, or learn to compromise with the one that comes closest.

For those whose needs are not met by the new MacBook, "This isn't the Mac you're looking for. Move along."

This same comedian did a few other videos... As a 970 nVidia engineer, as a developer on The Order: 1886, and one on Destiny as well.

I agree. No one ever says, "That 15" MacBook Pro is way too powerful for me, so I don't see anyone buying it".

If it doesn't work for you, don't buy it. Simple.

Loved this spoof video, cracked up watching it, posted it to all my friends and on twitter moment I saw it.

AND I'm ordering a 12" rMB, heheh. I'll likely be on an annual upgrade cycle for this family of machines. It'll be my third computer in addition to my iPad Air 2 and iPhone 6, but I want something this small and light as a travel machine, and the shortcomings will not affect me it seems.
