Coincidentally, I've been listening a song with a very similar name recently 😅.

I’m on an XS Max but not seen much outside of camera on the 12 that makes me want to upgrade.
The Airtags alone are worth avoiding anything older than iPhone 11. Important features for the Airtags are not available in the XS and older.

I'm interested in seeing just how far off the guesses were this time. I suspect another massacre like with the WWDC. I also suspect another ho-hum year of incremental, overpriced updates with features I don't need. Basically they will polish the old paint jobs and tell us how wonderful these slightly different new models are. That is the American way, slightly change the taillights and call it a whole new design! :p
Will be best selling iPhone ever 😉

1.) I wasn't aware that sensor-shift OIS for the Back Wide was going to be included in ALL models; remains to be seen.

2.) We're coming-up on year 2 of this sensor-shift OIS for the Back Wide, has ANYBODY proven that it's an improvement ?

I know the Marketing Hype behind it, but where the rubber meets the road, has it been Proven to be a benefit ?

Perhaps it has, & I just missed it.

Anybody ?

5 years of my iPhone 6S is coming to an end. Feels a bit sentimental as I met my wife using this phone, we got married, moved continents, had our first child and it's still going strong. I think I'll probably keep this in a drawer for the memories. Looking forward to another 5 years with the iPhone 13 Pro.

This year I'll be upgrading my iPhone, MacBook, AirPods, and maybe even my Series 6 Apple Watch if the new one really appeals.

They are likely not gonna film the pre-tape until closer to the weekend to avoid leaks. What this also means, the iPhone 13 exists, Craig and his team likely have been familiarizing themselves with it since August. MBKHD, Dieter, OMG iJustine and most YouTubers will get their reviewer units next week under embargo giving them a week before GA to get their reviews ready.

What a machinery Apple runs every fall!

Sucks that I will be at work next week when all this is happening.

Reading into the invite: Astrophotography is a good guess, I'm also thinking always-on date and time based on the way the date is glowing

Apple today announced that it will be holding a special event on Tuesday, September 14 at 10:00 a.m. The event will take place at the Steve Jobs Theater on the Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California.

apple-california-streaming-event.jpg

As with WWDC and last year's fall events, this new event will be held digitally with no members of the media invited to attend in person. Apple will likely provide pre-taped segments for each new product that's announced.

Last year's September event focused on the Apple Watch after the iPhone was delayed until October, but this year, things are back to normal. We're expecting Apple to announce new iPhone 13 models, the Apple Watch Series 7, and possibly the AirPods 3.

New MacBook Pro models and new iPads are also on the horizon, but Apple is expected to hold multiple fall events this year so we're not likely to see everything come out in September.

Apple's iPhone 13 models will be similar to the iPhone 12 models with few design changes. Apple is planning to release a 5.4-inch iPhone 13 mini, a 6.1-inch iPhone 13, a 6.1-inch iPhone 13 Pro, and a 6.7-inch iPhone 13 Pro Max.

The general design will be the same, but we are expecting a smaller notch. There will also be some improvements to the cameras, with Apple bringing sensor-shift optical image stabilization to the whole iPhone 13 lineup, introducing a better Ultra Wide camera for the Pro models, and improving the cameras of the iPhone 13 Pro to bring it in line with the Pro Max.

A faster A15 chip is coming, along with faster 5G technology, and perhaps the biggest change might be the 120Hz ProMotion display expected for the Pro models. There have also been rumors of an always-on display, so that's a possibility, as are larger batteries and more maximum storage space. We have details on all of the rumors that we've heard about the iPhone 13 in our roundup, so check that out to see exactly what to expect.

As for the Apple Watch Series 7, we're expecting the first redesign that we've seen in years. The new Apple Watch could have a flat-edged design that better matches the iPhone models, and it could be thinner with more available display space.

A new lamination technique will bring the display closer to the front cover, and casing sizes are expected increase to 41mm and 45mm, up from 40mm and 44mm. A faster S7 chip is expected, and there could be a bigger battery, but there are no new health sensors coming this year.

Apple's manufacturing partners are reportedly having production difficulties with the new watch, so we could see a bit of a delay in availability or very tight supplies at launch.

The third-generation AirPods that are in the works are expected to have a design that's closer to the AirPods Pro, and silicone tips are a possibility.

The new AirPods will have shorter AirPods Pro-like stems, but will continue to be a more affordable option without Active Noise Cancellation.

Apple plans to stream the fall event live on its website, on YouTube, and on the Apple TV through the Apple TV app. Apple today made the YouTube livestream available ahead of the event date.

For those unable to watch, MacRumors will be providing full event coverage both on MacRumors.com and the MacRumorsLive Twitter account.

Great to have this expected announcement.

What’s key here is whether they have stock of new iPhones to boost revenues $1 billion for every day through iPhone sales in September so that it can make a favorable year over a year quarterly comparisons. The suits on Wall Street will not understand - they will only react reflexively.

It seems hard for Apple to come out with year over year quarterly beats but they will do it easily with billion $ per day iPhone sales. In truth it hardly matters whether they start selling them in September or October, but truth doesn’t matter much in this world really in the short term. I’m always worried about the myopic analysts, with good media article writing connections and good propaganda effects, even after a year they did not understand that Apple stock deserves to be higher? ! Until what? Now? Lol. Ok. Just Booya!

I never would have guessed that one year later our case rate would be four times higher and our death rate would be twice as high as this time last year. Holy crap. I figured we'd be good to go by now with live events, and I had one of the more pessimistic views saying from the start that it would be mostly over by autumn last year. It's hard to believe a year has already passed by, and even more difficult to imagine that things will ever be back to normal. I know a lot of vaccinated people who have been having really bad breakthrough cases, including one of my wife's best friends who is in her 30s like us and traveled to Texas. I work remotely and several of my coworkers are out with it right now and we are a smaller company so it hurts. I'm glad Apple is keeping this event remote. This is how we're going to be for the long haul until more people get vaccinated globally. There are too many opportunities for mutation.

Astrophotography would be the main reason I upgrade from my 12Pro. But I will wait to see the reviews to see if it really is a significant upgrade.

I also might upgrade my Series 4 watch but also might wait until next year to see what health sensors are added because it des not like like any new ones will be added this year.

iPhone 13 series is obvious for the reveal. Very likely AirPods 3. Apple Watch 7 possibly not because there won't be enough supplies until mid October 2021.

That's why (in my opinion! :) ) that the event will be iPhone 13 series and AirPods 3 only, then the October 2021 event will be Apple Watch 7, iPad 9 and iPad mini 6.
