Honestly, I would be surprised if this hadn’t leaked before the event…
I'm really tempted to upgrade to the 16 Pro Max this year, from my 14 Pro Max. I hate the battery life on my current phone :/.
I get it why they were able to do it on a Monday - it's because it is once again, a live stream with a pre-recorded video, no staff needed, right?
I was just joking lol. Personally I’m not a fan of glowing logos. You put a case over them anyway, whatever. Even with the Mac, I prefer the stainless steel logo.
Yeah, maybe it’s a reference to the new iOS 18 Siri animation.
However, I miss the old Android notification leds, and having a subtle glow somewhere around the phone (or even the Apple logo) to indicate there’s an important notification would be great.
If Apple's AI is anything like Siri, even remotely, we are in for a world of disappointment.

9/10 - Announced
9/13 - Preorder
9/20 - Launch
However, 9/9 is the announcement so…may just be a one-off because 9/10 are the presidential debates and 9/11 is a no-go? So maybe the preorder and launch are the same, as most would expect?
I just hope they don’t move the 16’s back to October to launch with Apple Intelligence since that’s such a headline feature for them.
I hope they don’t announce the watches, iPhones, etc. but only release the watches in September and hold the phones back until 18.1 is ready. They may not want the headlines of “here are our brand new phones in September but you can’t use the headline feature yet” in all the reviews and stuff? Who knows.

Cameras is the number one reason, beyond that 5g chips get better all the time for those of us in low signal areas.
So long as you're getting half the price when selling/trading in after a year, it's really not that big of a deal.
Interested to see what Series 10 and Ultra 3 add. The wife's S8 battery is already aged, and she doesn't use AOD. Would like to see a smaller Ultra 3 for her. My Ultra 1 is holding up fine still.
It could be a press release for how exciting this phone update sounds lol. Hoping there area some surprises but odds are I’m waiting for the 17.
Hopefully, the trade-in prices in the USA increased last year the 14 Pro was $570 it should at least be $600
