The Japanese invitation one says 速報 which means breaking news, not literally speed. Not sure why it used like that.

Apple is really embracing Twitter as of late. While Apple executives have typically stayed away from social media in an official capacity, several top level execs, including of course Tim Apple and recently Joz are active on Twitter. Apple itself added an account and provides customer service via Tweet DMs.

I use Twitter primarily for news, following sources I trust from across the spectrum that help me avoid echo chambers when watching a news station and enable me to form more informed opinions.

I’d love to see Apple work more closely with Twitter by integrating trending topics and curated tweets that tell a story, directly into Apple News.

Twitter itself has been experimenting with a 24/hr news feed but its partnership with Bloomberg hasn’t really panned out. An Apple News channel on tv+ could be a better fit, filling a void that Apple TV is missing in its roster.

Sadly, I think you have to wait just a bit more, like a month or so.

My Macs are already old, a 2012 Mac Mini and a MBP from the same year, I *need a new one, not going to buy the last Intel though.

*Want

i Wonder though, would buying a intel based MacBook Air with a seperate eGPU be a good investment or am I better off waiting for a MacBook with arm? I have a 6 year old desktop iMac without GPU which I do blender 3D work on. I intend to replace the existing desktop computer with a MacBook so it’s more lightweight and portable
