Delivery time of a standard black 44mm AW5 has slipt to 8-17 October 2020 in the Dutch online Apple store. I'm a 100% convinced this is not due to normal supply issues.

Guessing an update at 17:00 Z time as this is normal Apple event time.

His rabid fan base keep calling on his "high percentage" of leaks, but hes been doing this for such a short time. These other "leakers" have been doing this for years and have a healthy balance sheet. So yeah, Prosser has an 80%ish rate, but has a pretty thin file.

Doesn’t the fact that the hashtag is active until the 28th imply that Apple will hold their press event on Tuesday the 29th? Makes sense to me as all of their events are always held on Tuesdays.

Apple trolled Prosser hard. They updated their website with an Apple TV interface. Probably trying to flush out the mole.
The site has looked like that for a few days now. Here's an archive of it on Sept 5th, looks the same as right now:

Just spit balling, but if it expires on the 28th, I assume they would want it available for some time after the event for media/public to use. I would assume at least a week, maybe more. I have no inside info, just reading the terrain. Would it be a long shot for the press briefing Prosser referred to today IS the #appleevent? We still have a couple of hours to find out.

They may have the online event the week before, like September 22th, launch the Watch with pre order staring that very week and announce the new iPhones with pre orders starting at the end of the following week, so the beginning of October (it would be Friday so October 2th).
That would make sense, a few weeks later than usual for iPhone like Apple said during the earning call.

He didn’t say that. In all his tweets he is saying 9am est
Seriously?

Being told I should just freakin wait for the products that many will eventually start crying about because it didn't come with X or X or X.....

I guess that basically confirms a September event considering the hashtag emoji will only be active until September 28.
I'm hoping for an event the 22nd with an announcement later today.

Also, can we stop posting articles about Jon Prossers "leaks" now? He clearly just makes stuff up as he goes, Apple doesn't just shift around their schedule around like this. Stuff like this is usually planned weeks or even months in advance.

Months, for sure.

During COVID-era, schedules have a higher possibility of moving around. In the past, not so much.

Jon Prosser is wrong once again. No surprise there. Never really believed his leak anyway sounded way too outlandish. They always hold an event for the Apple Watch doesn't make any sense for them to just release it in a press release and delay the event into October.
Sure it does. Apple can do whatever they want, and they frequently break with self-imposed patterns when there is a reason to.

With iPhones delayed into October and November, if Apple Watch and iPad are ready to go, it makes plenty of sense for Apple to release them and not hold them back artificially just to align with an iPhone announcement.
