A new Apple TV has been rumored to be "coming soon" for so long. Hopefully there are some decent upgrades aside from what's mentioned as I'm sure how useful Siri would be.
A good chip is a good update because Siri will improve over time now that the pressure is on. Having the chip in there is half the battle. Beyond a more capable Siri and software features added here and there over time, it's best to keep the hardware simple and save on cost by doing so. An input switcher on the top-left of the Siri Remote opposite the power button would be awesome. While I'm dreaming I've like four shortcut buttons beneath the volume controls.

Definitely feels like the iPad Pro with M5 along with the newer Apple TV. Beyond that seems like guesswork. It seems possible we could get the new MacBook Pros with a shipping in 2 weeks type of deal (which would mean November). But we just don't know. It doesn't seem like it'd make much sense to wait until early 2026 for MacBook Pros if we're getting the redesigned thinner models with OLED later in the year. But who knows?
Can't wait. Take my money. Go Knicks! :)

I hate my Alexa device. Wouldn't mind giving Homepod mini a shot
We've had the original Echo (what Alexa is truly called) for 9.5 years. It's blown away Siri by leaps and bounds the entire time. Anytime we ask it a question, we get the answer whether it's the weather forecast in our town or 500 miles away, facts and figures, math calculations, and all sorts of other questions. When it plays music you can just say "Alexa, who sings this?" and you'll get the title and artist and it's 100% accurate. We can enable alerts for Amazon deliveries.

We don't go bonkers using the Echo but it has great sound, always works as far as any kind of personal assistant, and hey, so far 9+ years!

Every time I see the Apple TV remote I wonder why they just don't make the Apple TV Remote similar to an Apple iPod Clickwheel and just simplify it.

Whats a good site that sells new apple products at a discount that just got replaced by new models?

I want a 13” iPad pro. I don’t think an M5 will be that special to an M4, unless it weighs less.

i like this remote, i also like not having to look at it to operate it. for me physical buttons are way better then the last Apple TV remote.
I dig it, just saying I think they could keep the same deign but the black circle pad could operate like a iPod click wheel. You could move the back button underneath the left pad, tv/home button to top, play pause to down button, keep volume buttons that frees up 3 existing buttons.. you could have input, dedicated Apple TV button, maybe a blank button that could be programmed to a feature of your liking.

About the remote: Every time I want to go 1 video/app/anything left I end up at the neighbors Apple TV two blocks away.
I wish they would make the controls a bit more easy.

About things I wish to expect: A HomeHub with touchscreen (and a speaker or Apple TV in it or both).

100% there's a new :apple:TV.

Did no-one else clock the opening segment of the iPhone launch video when they introduced all :apple:'s designs at 00:19, the iPhone found the :apple:TV caseless remote using Find-My?

Strange that this was included as everything else featured was shipping products.

I really hope we get a new HomePod mini. I’ve never had one but looking forward to one for podcasts and twitter spaces. For the Apple TV, I’ll probably wait for the next one in a couple of years.

My 2021 version is running great. I need confirmation about Dolby Vision 2 compatibility before pulling the trigger.

I hope for a new iPad Pro that has a portrait faceid camera again. The new design on the side is not good for left handed people who block the camera when holding. Also would buy a new Apple TV.
iPad Pro need to have Two cameras depending on how you hold, landscape or potrtrait ... same for the iPad mini (at list imo and personal interest as I use my mini to work and video conf.

I know this isn't going to happen but a ~9" smaller iPad Pro would be pretty sweet. Otherwise, I'm not in the market for any of the rumored upcoming products (which is fine).

Apple is never going to release a MacBook of any kind with a touchscreen. That’s crazy bad for usability… 😉
