Don't know whether Apple will have an event. Most of these products, especially the iPad Pro are very minor updates and they could all be released through a press release on Apple Newsroom. Fun to watch an Apple event, I would like to see one.

Every time I see the Apple TV remote I wonder why they just don't make the Apple TV Remote similar to an Apple iPod Clickwheel and just simplify it.

Yes it does - instead of the touchpad ring, we have touchpad center which is quite useful when it comes to navigate around.
