The Ultra may be a niche watch, but Apple hit that niche well. These athletes spend a lot on their sport. We hike and run and spend enough, I can only imagine what scuba divers and other serious athletes/explorers spend.

Yeah, its a neat device, but super niche. For those of us who are not extreme sports nuts, this thing is kinda silly. I keep hoping for a watch that does more for your daily life. This is just the opposite.
 
OMFG, do you really think anyone needs to be told that it could be used to check for fever? The ovulation information is being highlighted because 1) it significantly impacts a huge portion of the population, who may previously have had no interest whatsoever in a smart watch, and 2) it requires some AI/ML for inference/prediction, beyond the use of the new temperature sensor. Any garden variety idiot can understand that it could be used for detecting fever—they don't need to market that.
I agree with all of that, I'm just talking about marketing lol.
