Sure, but that's just the point; it's good marketing because they're potentially reaching a huge number of totally new customers—ones who previously would never have considered an Apple Watch. I seem to recall the reeeeeaaaally old days when Apple already did partnerships with Nike, such as that weird-ass shoe with a cut-out for a pill-shaped Nike+ movement tracker that would connect to a 32-pin connector receiver, so you could sync with and track your activity on… the first-gen iPod nano, back in 2006.Apple is really serving this niche well but… why?
I just don’t understand why they want to target this small segment of the market so badly?
Seems out of step with their heritage and like something that will lose them a ton of money in the long run…
