It's kinda crazy how we're starting to finally get into some Star Trek-like tech like real time translation. I'm just curious how this works when you're talking about something in a language where the context can change meaning depending on upcoming words?

Aren't these earphones rather than headphones?

Or am I just old fashioned and a word has been dropped from people's vocabulary?

People these days seem to call everything headphones even though they are earphones.

If they could actually nail live translation, it'd make the product basically a must-buy for someone like me who does a ton of work with foreign partners (I could use this for Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, German, and French as I have clients that speak those languages).

I can't speak a lick of anything other than good ol' Murican, so yeah. For someone like me where it's a real challenge to learn a language, that type of thing could be great from a workflow perspective.

I hope we can turn off the heart rate sensing in AirPods Pro 3 to save battery. Don't really care about this since I have an Apple Watch Ultra 2.
