Looks like the rumors were accurate about the iPad Air. So far so good.

Good thing the products are still decent and they're already past those dark years of true tech stagnation (we can't really compare year-over-year updates of amazingly performing but otherwise similar-looking iPhones and Macs to those horrid beige boxes and creaky OS of the mid-90s), I guess…

Probably going to be M2 in the next version. The Pro still has other advantages over the Air.

iPad Air feels such an unnecessary model in the iPad lineup. I hate that Apple has so many model versions - iPad/iPhone/iMac, mini, SE, Air, Pro, iMac Pro and soon 'Studio'.

I bet Steve Jobs is rolling his eyes right now.

M1 = A14X / A14Z.

M1 Max makes no sense as such a chip has never been in iPads.
