M1 in the iPad Air... real cool! Does it have thunderbolt or is it still a flavor of USB3.x ? I didn't see any mention of thunderbolt in the keynote. Instead they said "2x faster USB-c". What does that mean?

it’s an amazing apple flex to still launch a home button with those bezels in 2022.

Because it’s an entry-level phone. Why would they change the chassis and overall physics of the phone that would only cost the consumer more, which the point of this phone, is to retain the price point. Most considering this phone at this price point, is not concerned about ‘Bezels’.

Indeed the 11" iPad Pro (I have one fore work) overlaps a lot of features with the new Air. But don't be too pissed. You have more storage, better display, better speakers and FaceID! I'd probably pay the extra just for this.
